Description

The beginning of the Resident Evil Revelations 2 tale sees fan favorite Claire Redfield make a dramatic return. Survivor of the Raccoon City incident depicted in previous Resident Evil games, Claire now works for the anti- bioterrorism organization Terra Save. Moira Burton, is attending her welcome party for Terra Save when unknown armed forces storm the office. Claire and Moira are knocked unconscious and awaken later to find themselves in a dark and abandoned detention facility. Working together, they must find out who took them and to what sinister end. With the terrifying Afflicted enemies waiting around every dark corner, players will need to use their ammo and weapon supply wisely, in classic survival horror style. Will Claire and Moira make it out alive and discover what's led to them being taken to this remote island? Who else will they come across? A story of twists and turns will have players guessing the next step at every turn.

  • Resident Evil in top form
Platform For Display: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
This game has been a delightful surprise. As a long time fan of the Resident Evil franchise I snatched it up immediately but didn't have any idea what to expect from it. What I got is an extremely fun story mode that features a neat tag team system where you work together with an NPC to solve problems, and an engrossing story full of classic Resident Evil elements and a clever chapter system with tantalizing cliffhangers and non linear storytelling that kept me wanting to know what would happen next. The game's combat is satisfying, with much of combat requiring careful choice of the right weapon and opportunities to customize weapons to suit how you want to use them. There is also Raid mode, a series of missions that are increasingly challenging in which you can level up the character of your choice, unlock new characters and skills, and earn badges and rare items as you progress. Even without Raid Mode I would be satisfied with this game, but Raid Mode is like a whole other game in itself and has kept me playing well after finishing the main campaign. There are plenty of creepy moments to be had here and I found myself really involved with the characters and the story line, plus the extra value of Raid Mode, which all adds up to an extremely satisfying purchase. ... show more

  • Very well done Resident Evil. Raid Mode is a blast to play!
Platform For Display: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
This is quite possibly one of the best entries to come out in the series in a very long time. It combines the best aspects of modern action oriented Resident Evil with classic survival horror Resident Evil. The story is cheesy, but keeps you entertained throughout, and although the graphics are just okay, the gameplay is solid. You can tell they learned a lot from Resident Evil Revelations. However, the absolute STAR of the show is Raid Mode. Incredibly addicting, fun, and absolutely a blast to play through with a friend. It has an immensely deep RPG mechanic to it and features tons and tons of levels to try out all your new guns and abilities. Highly recommended if you enjoyed mercenary mode in previous entries. ... show more

  • Brilliant

The game is amazing. Good atmosphere, wasn’t that scary for me. But I’ll have to say overall the guns were pretty smooth and the characters were interesting. I’ll give this game a 5 star rAting especially because I’m a huge Resident Evil fan. FYI The game case was in excellent condition.

Liked the first one on ps3 so I had to try this one, especially being a fan of the series. Its fun and unique in that you control 2 players throughout the game, like in certain parts of RE0. Some people don't like it and are turned off by it but I thought it worked well together with the game. SPOILER ALERT : This game plays out like a season of a television show with completed "episodes" being played for you every time you turn the game back on, there's about 8 or 9 of these episodes in total. Revelations 1 was the same way. I think it really sucks that both players cant be armed, but I got over that pretty fast. Also being a fan of the series, I think they did my favorite character a disservice in this one, hes kinda goofy i think but those are minor complaints for an overall decent game. I would recommend to any fans of the series or action games in general. . ... show more

This game has improved raid mode than forner one. Main campaign Story is dramatic, gameplay awesome. Graphics well designed. One of the best series of RE games. You just enjoy playing for a long time on raid mode and campaign echievements. To notice, first time you play as Barry, The RE game protagonist, who appears in first installment of the franchize. ... show more

  • RE Relevations 2 Must have for any Resident Evil fan.
Platform For Display: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
Revelations 2 is a sequel, of sorts, but doesn’t continue the previous story. Instead, the game centers on Claire Redfield and Moira Burton who are kidnapped at a TerraSave. Takes place between Resident Evil 5 & 6. A huge improvement compared to the first revelations. Visuals, the game’s a little uneven. Character models, both human and creature, look gorgeous and hideously grotesque respectively. The same goes for the pacing, plot points, and even music. Revelations 2 goes for quantity over quality with tons of extras to unlock, a lengthy campaign, and bonus modes. ... show more

Was my first resident evil experience and I quickly fell in love with the characters. I’m glad they decided to update the original cause the look of it and feel was pretty much perfect for a game.
