Firstly, these ardived quickly and in excellent shape with excellent packing and were not overly heavy or awkward. Secondly, I'm a sucker for glass and multipurpose things. I looked at dozens of terrarium/vivarium/reptile habitat enclosures. I have been trying to upgrade my leopard geckos to an enclosure that would offer enrichment and interest for both them and my family. I looked at so many pvc, wood, mdf, plastic, diy, glass etc options. I just couldnt purchase anything that cant hold a spill or will warp, that bugs could chew, would be melted or scratched very easily or is purely plastic and flexible... I don't like the exo terra due to the wide plastic horizontal bar etc in the worst spot. But this terrarium that is stackable and can hold water if I choose and has really nice components...including wire organizer/keeper options and a tight fitting lid...its so nice. I love it. I bought the rock background 36x18" for the exoterra terrarium of the same size from universal rocks and I'm floored. Looks like a show piece. The gecko is essentially a decoration to the ecosystem on display now. I am so pleased with these. I will be buying another that is 36x12x18 to stack atop my other two. I think there is no better commercial option and honestly...not really a better custom option for the price. My one critique is that they do not have a kit for hiding the space between stacked units. So I will need to make something. I'm very pleased with the quality and ease of construction and sturdiness of these terrariums. In the future, I could easily change the enclosure and make a higher humidity ecosystem with a water feature or even fish. You cant beat these. What a fantastic enclosure. I used local cholla wood, Josh's frogs dirt for one and then the bio dude substrate for the other. Leopard geckos do love to climb, they do, they made their own changes to their enclosures too. These are easy to move with help and reconfigure when you decide to do your flooring. They even have wheels as an option. We have three stacked and universal rocks backgrounds in all three. Zero problems except evaporation is fast with the no light subcutaneous heat bulbs. So have a big container of water by your enclosures even for lizards to water plants and keep your enclosure habitable for isopods and other organisms. ... show more

Just what we wanted for our beardie! Great quality, fairly easy to put together (recommend using electric screw driver rather than to tool provided to get the top part on easier), well packaged for shipping and very clean looking! I looked for a long time and did so much research; this was the terrarium that I decided on after getting one at the store that was sub-par. I spent about the same amount of money on this one too, and this one is so much better quality and larger! The front opening makes it way easier to take her in and out and clean it, my kids have an easier time handling her as well. :-) Very sturdy, easy to build, and plenty spacious for our leopard gecko and lots of things for her to crawl on. ... show more

I use this tank (67 gallon) for my adult bearded dragon. It works perfectly for him. It’s large enough he has room to move around and helps separate the basking from cooler side better than a 40 gallon tank. It was relatively easy to put together and gives much easier access to clean out the tank, feed, and get him out. That being said, I would not get this tank if you have a little ~sneaky snake~. The lock is not the most secure and it isn’t the most sturdy of tanks because there are so many separate pieces that are essentially held together by the top piece. My beardie can’t get out, but strong reptiles may be able to. ... show more

I love this tank! I needed to upgrade my ball python out of her 25 gallon tank and decided to give this a try. Not only was it really easy to assemble, but it is a really spacious tank too! It looks great, is really sturdy, and so far there’s been no water leaks! That’s super important since she needs 70-80% humidity. I own multiple units which I use to grow various types of mushrooms in. They are very sturdy and easy to assemble (i am old and did it myself in a couple minutes). It's great how they collapse for easier storage. One that i recently purchased arrived with a broken glass side but I was refunded so no biggie. Will buy another soon... ... show more
