I needed a new umbrella and this one was too fun to pass up. I love the push open and closed. Closing takes practice because all the water on the umbrella flings off when you close it so fast. You have to aim it just right. I got mine and it sat for a while. I don't live in a rainy climate. So when we had some rain in the forecast I ordered a second one for my son. He chose black. I now own two. These are shallow umbrellas. They're not deep when open. I like that so I'm not carrying a giant umbrella around in my bag. This allows it to fold up small. However, during the second use of my umbrella, a small gust of wind blew and it broke one of my spokes. So I'm here to see just how good this lifetime warranty is. I got this umbrella for when I travel. I have a smaller umbrella that I’ve been using, but it doesn’t stand up to heavy winds and turns inside out. This umbrella works great. I used it on a rainy and windy day. It was big enough that I didn’t get wet, and had zero signs of wanting to turn inside out. The push button to open and close is great, and it’s easy to collapse the umbrella back down to get it in the case it came with to keep it protected in my bag. We will be taking a vacation in a little while and I may need an umbrella. I already had a couple of old, cheap ones, but wanted a nicer one. This model looked good so I ordered it. It is much nicer than my old ones; sturdier and easier to open and close. I think this one will work well.

I bought this umbrella because 1) it appeared to be heavy duty 2) it was cute and 3) it opened and closed automatically. I am Happy to confirm that it is indeed well built and quite cute. The automatic opening feature is wonderful! Unfortunately, I have arthritis in my hands and wrists that cause a problem with closing the umbrella. When you push down on the button, the umbrella closes but you have to push it down into place until it snaps closed. I found that the effort was great and it made my hand and wrist hurt. 😔 I may not be able to use it as exclusively as I had hoped. ... show more

These umbrellas are well priced, sturdy, and everything you could want from an umbrella, but could not be close with one hand. I also struggle to open it with one hand. If one had two freehand hands sure, but I’m always busy with full hands when I need to dash thru the rain. Even Gene Kelly had a throw down his umbrella to dance in the rain.; too cumbersome. I have had one of these umbrellas for five years and one for two years. Both are still working great and good as new. I use them mainly to protect against rain and occasionally against sun. The stitching has not broken on any of the ribs as of yet after all this time, nor on the sleeve.

It’s a good umbrella. There is a split in layers so some water does deep through that “crack” but it’s not very significant. I also wish they offered a bigger size so that you can cover some of your feet as you walk. It’s easy to use and your umbrella will pop right open with the click of a button.
