Does not stick to Sunbrella boat cover. I tried to repair a rip in the seam by taping both sides with this tape. It didnt stick very well, but I left it laying flat overnight to see of it would cure and stick. Next day the taped seam pulls easily loose. No real adhesion at all. I ended up mending the repair aewimg by hand with fishing line. This method has held so far after about 2 weeks of use. ... show more

I bought white to match the underside of my awning. Had a few little tears starting so wanted to patch them up before getting worse. Prepped the surface on both sides and applied the repair tape. Went on with no issues. Very sticky so hope in the long run it will hold up. But only time will tell.

I bought this to repair some tears in my canvas boat cover. I presumed, according to the description, that this was an appropriate application of the product and that it would be extremely adhesive to stick to old canvas and not peel up easily. Pieces that I applied to dry canvas began to release within a day of use. From my estimation, I may as well have used the roll of packaging tape I use to seal boxes of items I return to Amazon. ... show more
