  • I couldn't be happier with the Rep V2 GHD.
I couldn't be happier with the Rep V2 GHD. Everything about this is not your typical Chinese strength product. The machine is very sturdy, well finished, the pads are great and there is plenty of room for my 6'1" frame. The instructions were adequate and tools were provided (I didn't use these). All the hardware was present. I was missing one knob and Rep Fitness had a replacement in the mail on the same day I called. REP Fitness has a good reputation and now I know why. ... show more

  • Solid, stable and totally adjustable
This had pretty good reviews and I wanted a GHD which was adjustable for many types of exercises and for me tall and my significant other short. For the money its really impressive and I've seen flimsy machines at Gyms which were not even close to the adjustability and stable platform that this is. My back was getting beat after retirement and lack of work outs. I knew it was from a weak out of shape core so this machine is great allowing me to target any area I need too.. I have absolutely no complaints and are impressed by all of which I can work out in terms or core. It is great and all my back pain is gone and mid section getting back to shape. Adjustments are smooth, can be locked into position after and does not move. Also it is a awesome looking peace and worth the cost. I do wish they could have beefed up the gauge instead of supplying Hugh washers to distribute the torque when assembling and tightening some aspects as you just have to not go over board when torquing down the nuts, just tighten only enough as it takes or you could booger it up and cave something in or distort things even though it is still heavy enough and not cheap but a real idiot could do it.. It still weighs a lot but can easily be wheeled out of the way..I just wish it could be made in the USA but atleast it was designed here..Not a junk product and could be well suited in a professional gym.. ... show more

  • Infinitely Better than Rogue's, For Way Less Money!
I have been singing the praises of how amazingly well this GHD machine works to all my gym friends ever since I got it for use in my small garage home gym. Rogue currently offers the GH-1 at the same price point as Rep Fitness and offers the Abram 2.0 for 150$ more (PLUS 'an arm and a leg' for shipping cost of either Rogue option). However, Rep's GHD (with FREE fast shipping) functions sooo much better than even Rogue's MUCH pricier Abram 2.0 GHD and has so many more features than both of those Rogue options. (I have personally used all three models a ton for myself and my clients.) For example, you have to spend an extra $37, if you want to add wheels to the GH1 and it doesn't even have vertical foot platform adjustability. Rep's come standard. Rep's GHD also has these awesome features that even the Abram 2.0 wishes it had: Welded-on band pegs to add extra elastic resistance (rather than having to spend more money on optional band pegs), a vertical well-placed handle on the back for easy wheel-around moving of the unit, a wide horizontal foot platform to help shorter athletes step up and mount the machine, a diamond-patterned AND angled vertical foot platform for better grip and ergonomics during glute-ham raises which adjusts its position vertically much more easily and with much more range than the Abram. But what really won me over the most is how easy it is to adjust the horizontal leg length on the vertical foot platform's sliding track! I can literally use two small fingers and it slides like butter to the next position in just 1 second, it makes me so happy I could cry lol. It's so fast and easy I could even change settings in between repetitions mid-set if I wanted to! This is a big deal to me because I've experienced so many years of frustration pulling and twisting and yanking so hard on the stupid GH-1 whose foot platform just won't budge. Even the Abram 2.0 pin-pull lever jams often and even when it doesn't jam you have to use a ton of arm strength to control the heaviness of the platform upwards or downwards to the next hole. (It adjusts on an akward curved-shaped track.) Now I just wish that Rep Fitness would sponsor me because I already only buy my high quality fitness products from them! Haha Overall, if you want a GHD as good as this one (or slightly better) from Rogue, you're gonna have to spend more than $1000 extra (including shipping) for the Monster Swing Arm option. Or you could get this one, and save that extra grand to get a new Model E Concept-2 Rower or Assault Air Bike. ;) ... show more

  • Worth it and commercial quality
Overall, I’m very satisfied with the quality. Each item was packed with care and instructions we simple to follow. I would recommend this product to anyway. I use Rogue GHD all the to d and this compares well but not has expensive.

  • Beefy construction and well designed
This one really is commercial quality, it feels as sturdy or sturdier than any GHD that I've used in a gym. The two biggest reasons that I went with this one over competitors is that the forward pad is in two sections, giving you some space in the middle; and that the front pad wraps around the support plate such that when you're in the fully up position in the GH movement the plate doesn't dig into your quads. It feels like this was designed by someone who actually does the movement. Overall very happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • Great value for the price
I did a lot of research on this one, comparing the REP GHD to others by Rogue, Titan, etc. I kept coming back to the REP GHD for the combination of quality and price. The unit was easy to assemble, and I had it up and ready to use in about an hour. I'm very pleased with it so far; no complaints whatsoever. I'll come back to this review after several months of heavy use to let you know how it stands up over time. Given the quality I've seen so far, I'm pretty sure that this will last me a long time. ... show more

  • Just amazing I love it.
I had the APEX JD 3.1 which cost 130$ and has 4.5 stars with over 1000 reviews... I cracked the .5inch plywood seat. Finally I decided if I'm going to do ab exercises everyday I want something more loving towards my back. Bought this and now I am the happiest guy. The two bars at bottom are great for looping resistance bands so I do a variety of exercises.. I use dumbells for the glute exercise. Very comfy on wrists for Dips. A few scuffs from shipping and a washer was lost in the cardboard but found it before I threw out the packaging. Instructions are a little confusing to be fair. ... show more
