Updated Review, Shortly after writing my original review, Reolink emailed me and asked me how they could fix my issue. They were very receptive to my complaint. They offered to send me a new solar camera, which I had decided against getting another one. They then asked me if I would like to have them send me a different camera, they gave me two options. I was very pleased with that and chose the outdoor wifi security camera. This camera is a very good camera. Reolink has proven to me that they are committed to customer satisfaction. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a good security camera. I have updated my review to 5 stars because of the great customer service. I bought my first Reolink camera around 7 years ago and it is still working fine. I have 11 cameras now and am pleased with them. I still can’t say I would want a solar one just because I need my cameras to work well at a distance of 200-300 feet and I not sure the solar camera can do that. Original review: I have several Reolink cameras, this is the first solar I have purchased. The first one I received did not work, they replaced it. This one is not as good as the Reolink you plug into electricity. It does not stay connected to internet, constantly goes off. I can only use it if it’s less than 100’ from the router and it sometimes drops internet then also. It does not follow motion either. Very disappointed in this camera. The media could not be loaded. My father wanted a security camera for the home. We live in Florida so a solar camera would be perfect. I wanted to prioritize ease of use, reliability, and features that enhance safety and security without a lot of fuss. We have been pleasantly surprised with the results of this solar camera. In my opinion this is the best solar camera for an elderly parent due to ease of use, reliable performance, and features that offer peace of mind. I love the fact it follows the movement so my parents do not have to use the PTZ function the camera does it automatically. The clarity of the video is phenomenal. I only have one quirk, I wish the manufacturer would put a matching QR code sticker in the book for that specific camera. My mom accidentally deleted her app so before I could reload it, I had to get out the ladder and scan the top of the camera with the app. This is the only way I knew how to reload the camera, if there is a better way maybe someone could let me know. (at the time we only had it on her phone). I have since put it on both of my parents phones so I could share if that should happen again. ... show more

This is a great camera. Clear picture, incoming sound is great, very good night vision, the siren, spotlight, and zoom are good. It's easy to install and setup. My only complaint is that if you want to talk through the camera (outgoing sound), that is not very good. You can here it outside, but you have to be pretty close to the camera. There doesn't seem to be anywhere on the app to increase the volume. Other than that, very happy with this camera. ... show more

I have several of their 4MP and 5 MP solar powered cameras and they have performed excellent!! It works during the day and night vision at night. We live on a 6 acre lot in higher altitude and it rains a lot here but cameras are always charged ready to go. The pictures are really good during the day but can be hard to see on a rainy night as one would expect with night vision. There are many settings you can choose via the Reolink app. The motion sensor also adds to the security system and can also be customized for what you need. I have been running the cameras for over a year and so far so good. Had one issue with one camera as it stopped responding and wouldn’t get on line but Reolink quickly replaced it (after sending the one I had back). Customer service is excellent!! Very quick responses and their team makes you feel like they listen and care about resolving any issues you may. I would highly recommend any of their products!! ... show more

We went through the setup process without any issues, until it became time to charge the camera. The LED light did not come on (green-charged, orange charging). We tried both the solar panel and also by using a cord and charger. The whole reason we bought the camera system was because someone sprayed my dog in the face and injured his eyes. (He was in a fenced yard) We wanted a camera ASAP. The automated bot system was useless. It kept asking me the same thing over and over, regardless of how I worded my problem. The next day - at 9am- I received an email asking for more details and promising a fast response. At 3 pm I responded again. They finally replied back to me at 10:12 pm. Not only that the information was useless and did not answer the question or tell me how to fix it. Yesterday afternoon I did call the help number. I was called back quickly. However, the person said it would have to be a warranty issue and that will take at least 48 hours. Also, we tried to watch one of the many help videos they have online but surprise! No videos on the Reolink4K Argus model. None of the cameras pictured in the video looked the same as the one we purchased. If you want good customer support, do not buy this camera. We are returning it and going with a different brand. ... show more
