  • PROFESSIONAL LEVEL: The new RGK Eclipse series is our 1st truly pro-level goalie gloves. These gloves were designed from the ground up using feedback from pro keepers combined with the best materials and construction methods we know of. Were not claiming its the best glove on the market, but well put it up against any competitor in a head to head.
  • PRO-LEVEL GRIP PERFORMANCE & CONTROL: All Eclipse gloves use high-performance German EXT Contact Grip latex, which is the standard for professional level goalie gloves. This plus other upgrades like the extended palm, 180 thumb wrap, and pre-arched palm instantly improve grip and ball control.
  • LEADING SAFETY PROTECTION: The Eclipses composite 4+3MM latex palms and 6MM breathaprene backhand with raised injected rubber ridges provide extra impact protection, while the neoprene cuff and 6CM 360 Duratek strap give excellent wrist support.
  • SUPERIOR VALUE & COMFORT: We've tried to pack as much value into every RGK glove regardless of play level, while ensuring that they are comfortable. The Eclipses breathaprene unibody design ensures a great form fit, maximum breathability, while the unique extended palm design puller makes them easy to put on.

  • Awesome looking but not sure how long these will last for the money
Color: Diablo (Fingersave) Size: 9
At first glance my keeper loved these gloves. The best part is the heel pad that is not foam and actually a rubber plate to protect your gloves when you dive. We followed all the directions before use: watched the video on how to take the plastic off, pre-washed the gloves, got them wet before use, and didn't put them palm to palm in the bag. The first use our keeper declared she loved them but... she had a awesome training session saving everything in sight and the gloves did great. Towards the end of practice she lightly tapped a bar (as she does with other brand gloves), looked down and saw this. Nothing else is damaged as she was not rough on them at all. Her partner keeper has had a pair of these for at least 6 months, constantly taps the 3 bars, and is rough on them and she was even shocked this happened! We had registered the gloves on Renegade's website ahead of time for their 30 day warranty. I called the company as soon as she showed me the gloves and left a message. I have called back 3 times and keep getting their voicemail and haven't gotten a return call from them yet. If this happens on day one of not so heavy use and no feedback from the company, we may be better off just paying for the cheaper gloves and replacing them more. I'll update if we ever get a call back. Update 5/16/2023: After getting nowhere trying to reach the company via phone I was able to locate an email address for them. Within 2 days I received a response to the photo and email I sent them. They had me verify my order number and mailing address and 2 days later we had a replacement pair of gloves for free under their warranty program. They were very helpful but had no explanation to the foam blowout on the first use. My keeper has continued to use the original pair. Although the hole has not gotten any bigger the fingers are showing wear as gloves sadly do. Happy with their customer service just be sure to email them. ... show more

  • Fits well and looks great
Color: Ambush (Fingersave) Size: 9
Overall we like these gloves, they fit well the look is great. We are 1 fall season and 1 indoor season in and the interior (palm side) of the glove is starting to fall apart. It has a lot of divots and even after you clean them they aren't as grippy as they once were. The last time after my son put them on the zipper on the exterior side broke apart, not sure how my son was sliding them on and it just popped off hopefully we can fix that. ... show more

  • great gloves but longer wrist
Color: Ambush (Fingersave) Size: 6
I love the gloves, but they are a little tight and harder to get on. They might loosen up some as I use them more often. Very nice looking and comfortable.

  • Top-of-the-Line Pro-level Gloves for Half the Price of a Big-Name Brand
Cut: "Evo-Negative Cut" - This is RGK's new negative cut, and it feels amazing! It's the very definition of "fits like a glove." Unlike RGK's traditional negative cut gloves, the Evo-negatives have some sort of tacky material on the sides (in-between the fingers) (I think it's called Breathapene?). Supposedly the material allows for ventilation while still keeping a solid material, which may help with control at the margins. Honestly, it sounds like magic, but maybe it's just tech I don't understand. Either way, they feel great on the inside as well! Also, there's no need to order a size bigger to fit these on - they slipped on with absolutely no struggle. The Grip: OK, here's the main reason why I wanted these. The grip (RGK calls it "German EXT Contact") is pro-level grip, and the Eclipse line is the only line they have which has this level grip. To be honest, RGK's Giga grip is already really good, and I've been perfectly happy with the gloves I have which have the Giga, but for the price that the Eclipse line are going at, there was no way I was going to turn down the chance to buy a pro-level grip glove at about half the price of a smilar-level Reusch or Nike glove! My main concern is how well they'll hold-up against the very abrasive older-generation turf I play on (plus I don't have the best diving technique). If they wear-out quickly, despite my best efforts to care for them, I'll update accordingly. Ultimately, for this price, it's low-risk/high-reward. Additional Note on Palm Design: New to RGK's design is the "Duratek" extended palm puller, which extends up into the bottom part of the palm (see pic), and has a ridged rubber. I assume this is to add more friction? The middle part of the extended puller is more Breathapene material to add more grip for when you miss catching the ball directly on your palms. Backhand - The knuckles are protected by these rubbery speed bumps, the material on the backhand feels like a wetsuit, and if you can't tell from the pic, the insignia is a raised rubber material. I'm not sure if the raised RGK insignia is a good thing/bad thing/no-thing, but at least it looks and feels cool. Comparison to other brands at this price point: There really is no comparison at THIS price point - and that's the biggest selling point, I think. From a quality/performance standpoint, the best comparison is probably the Reusch Pure Contact II G3 Fusion, or the Nike Vapor Grip 3, but those are selling for $100+ (and do they have a no-questions-asked 30-day return policy like RGK?). From a price standpoint, these gloves are selling at a sub-level quality price. Basically, if you swapped a Reusch/Nike/Adidas label on these gloves, they'd probably sell at $120. Bottom-line: For a Weekend Warrior such as myself, I have no reason to buy such amazing gloves, but at this price point, how could I turn down such an opportunity? P.S. RGK provides old-school, mom-and-pop shop level customer service, which nowadays is so rare and highly appreciated, and it's made me a loyal customer for life. When my kids' hands are big enough, they'll be shot-stopping in RGKs =) ... show more
