I have a 2025 Pilot Black Edition, and I’ve been waiting for a trim piece just like this! When the 2nd row middle seat is removed the anchor hooks on the floor are left completely exposed, and are a safety hazard. I’ve been waiting for a cover to become available, and I can say this one does the job perfectly! The product can easily support an adult person’s weight. I’m 6’4” and by no means am I a small guy, and I was easily able to step on the cover without it breaking under me. I highly recommend this for anyone with a 2023-2025 Pilot with removable 2nd row middle seat, that plans on removing it to create “captains chairs” in the 2nd row. This item easily solves a safety issue, and Honda should have included something like this from the factory. This item is not intended for use in Pilots with factory captains chairs like the Trailsport, or 2023 & 2024 EX-L 7 passenger version. As far as installation, it is fairly easy. 1. Remove factory middle seat. 2. Put included felt tabs over the 4 exposed factory anchors on the floor. 3. Line up rear plastic hooks on the bottom of this new piece with rear anchors on the floor. 4. Once plastic hooks are lined up with anchors on floor, slide back so they catch. 5. Once plastic hooks are all the way back onto rear anchors, push down on front of trim piece so it snaps into front floor anchors. Removal 1. Place trim removal tool, or fingers (carefully) under front side of trim piece that faces front of vehicle. I think a flat screwdriver wrapped in a rag (to prevent scratches), would also work. 2. Once pried up slightly, lift up slowly and gently with both hands. 3. Pull new trim piece forward so rear plastic hooks are no longer under metal anchors on floor of car. 4. Once rear anchors have been disengaged, pull up slowly (as you want to avoid scratching plastic and leather on sides of the seats). I found that once you’ve already lifted the trim piece a few inches that grabbing from one side and tilting up helped get it out from between the seats, as it’s a pretty snug fit. ... show more

    • Very tight fit
I am returning this. It’s fine if you want to place it once and leave forever. Not convenient to remover and replace with ease. Too much scraping on the original car seats to get the piece in place. Will damage the sides of the actual car seats. About 1 cm too wide on the sides.

The fit of the product is a bit snug as at least one other review describes. I had to squeeze the piece in and caused a little bit of scratching on my seats. I don’t think this would be something I would routinely take in and out. Once in, it fits securely and feels well made. It supported me (185lb) without any damage. ... show more

The install was a little bit tricky/difficult to get in place properly. There are 4 felt stick ons and it’s not real clear how or where to put those. Despite that, once you get it in place it’s perfect! Fits snug and looks seamless. If you didn’t know the vehicle you’d think that’s how it came. I love how it makes for a larger harder surface - perfect for storing things and even for a portable toddler potty if that’s the life stage you’re in! ... show more

This is the first design for the 2023-25 Honda Pilot removable 2nd row center seat full floor cover on the market, and HOUCLEMIC did a good job. The material could be thicker and the "X" mold mark in the center (that does not show up in any of the Amazon photos) is a bit off-putting.
