The media could not be loaded. To begin with, this is a great STEM toy for 6+ years kids. I bought this from Amazon and was delivered promptly on the next day. The box is sturdy and has 419 block pieces in nice packaging that can be used to build the blocks. My son was excited to see this and he really liked the toy picture as it looked like a ninja robot. The instructions book was very clear and easy to understand. I sat with my son to align the block pieces while he was able to build it. I am really surprised that he was able to think about which part goes where. It really helped in his critical thinking and helps toward that. It comes with a remote which works good with multiple functions. There are three different modes that can be built by using the same pieces. My son finished the first mode and I must tell you, he liked to build it and is motivated to build the next 2 modes as well. I was pleasantly surprised that the robot moves faster than expected and my son had a good time playing with it as well. I recommend this toy to kids and will help parents in bonding with their kids. This is a very intelligent toy and I am glad I bought it. I am buying another one as a gift to one of my son's friend for his Birthday. I was not sure if my Grandson would like the robot or not. He was super excited with his birthday present and started working on it at my table. It actually took him 2 days to finish it by himself. He is 10 years old and was very proud that he finished it. This kit can make 3 different builds. That should keep him busy. ... show more

    • Age Range Not Accurate
The media could not be loaded. The only major complaint I have about this guy is that the suggested age range is way off. My 9 year old whose very good with legos and robotics struggled with some of this. I couldn't imagine a younger kid or one less experienced would be able to build this without a lot of assistance. Overall it's fun! Forewarning the batteries do not last very long at all. Thinking a larger battery would have been better for this design. So, i guess, two complaints. I got it on sale for $30ish dollars which made it well worth it. I likely wouldn't pay full price for it though. ... show more

It states on the box for 6 years and up. This was far beyond a 6yr olds ability to assemble. Once an adult finished assembly it was a fun toy and kids love playing with it.

    • Motor and Receiver don't work
The motor and the receiver hardly worked from the first day we put together one of the builds. The remote has to be within a couple of feet of the receiver to work and even then the motor hardly works. The tank build would only move forward very slowly (with multiple tries with new batteries) and unevenly. Very disappointed since this was a homeschool co-op build for a robotics class. By the time we got the tank built and were trying the motor out, the return window had closed to return this robot. ... show more
