I recently ordered Remi’s night guards and was very pleased with both the process and the final product. The kit comes with clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Making the impressions was straightforward—simply mix the blue and white putty, place it in the appropriate tray, bite down, and hold. Afterward, I took a picture of my impression, and a representative either approved it or requested a redo (you get two chances). Once approved, I mailed the impressions using the provided pre-labeled package. One of the features I really appreciated was the ability to choose between night guards and retainers, as well as selecting the thickness of the guards. I opted for the thickest available option (2.5mm, if I recall correctly), and I’m glad I did. My only complaint is that I wish they could be thicker but they seem very sturdy and durable. I had initial concerns about fit, but I was pleasantly surprised—they fit perfectly! Having worn retainers before, I expected some discomfort, like breaking in a new pair of shoes. However, these night guards were so well-made that I experienced no pain or adjustment period, which is rare in my experience. Overall, I am extremely satisfied. The company is responsive, accommodating, and quick to answer emails. The entire process took about three weeks, which seems to be the industry standard. For starts, the process for making my impressions was easy with clear instructions. I emailed the pictures as requested and they responded in a timely manner with affirmation that I had followed instructions well and the impressions were great. Once I sent my impressions to them in their self addressed envelope, I received my guards rather promptly (perhaps it was a couple of weeks). I had order 2 top mouth guards. The process was smooth from impressions, to mailing, and ultimately receiving the final mouth guard. These are very high quality and fit my teeth like a glove. The edges are smooth and there is absolutely no irritation to my gums. I got the whitening foam as well which was also great and helped keep the mouth guard clean. They provide so much reflief and can stand a heavy grinder. You can wear the top and bottom at once, or just one or the other. You can also opt to get 2 tops, or 2 bottoms. I needed a nighttime mouth guard because I'm a grinder with a few little chips on my teeth already and a jaw that began clicking recently. I recommend Remi for a few important reasons. First, it's the best available option. The rubbery boil-in-water-to-size mouth guards are almost impossible to properly size and fit. Sure, they're very inexpensive, but I've tried several, and I think they contributed to some jaw misalignment because they are so difficult to properly fit. The mouth guards from the dentist office are good, but just way too expensive. My dentist quoted me $500 for one night guard, which my insurance would only pay half of IF my insurance accepted the justification. Further, in my experience, some of the dentist office guards aren't top quality. I had one that lasted for 5 years, which was great, but I had another that didn't make it past a year -- it was so fragile that it broke when I accidentally dropped it on a tile floor. So I considered the Remi service the best option. The second reason for getting Remi is that the customer service is very good. I had trouble getting the putty tray fittings done properly on my own. I followed the written and video instructions but still wasn't getting usable and approved results after a few clumsy attempts. Remi was very hands on in helping me solve the fitting problems, had a very nice staff member do a video call with me and we ultimately got something usable. My guards came in the mail shortly thereafter. I've had the guards for a few weeks now and so far, so good. No issues with fit or alignment. No issues with it falling out. And my jaw seems to be much better now than with the cheap rubber guard. I'm pleased with the product, and if I get at least two years' use from the Remi guard, I'll be very happy. ... show more

Remi's nightguard was available for a fraction of the price that my dentist quoted me, and I'm happy that I decided to give it a try! Making the impressions is not too difficult or uncomfortable. I actually made mine on Thanksgiving day and Remi staff replied to my email the same day with instructions on how to fix my top impression. One thing to note is that it does take some time for the impressions to make it to Remi, for them to process and make the guards, and for the guards to arrive back to you – about six weeks in my case, but it was worth it in the end. Both my top and bottom guards fit well; the top guard is quite comfortable and has improved my sleep quality. I'm still getting used to the bottom guard, but Remi staff is available for adjustments if I can't get it to work. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase, especially at the price point. ... show more

After stupidly cracking my old mouth guard, I didn’t want to spend another $200 for just one from the dentist. I wanted to have a backup this time just in case.
