  • This Mug Changed The Hydration Habits of My Whole Family
Size: 50oz Color: Opaque Gloss White
IF YOU LIKE COLD WATER AND DON'T LIKE REFILLING MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY GET THIS MUG RIGHT NOW. Okay, but seriously, this mug is amazing. So I bought my first 50oz Reduce mug at the end of 2020 in the plain stainless steel, because it turned out I'm a mighty kidney stone maker and my urologist told me I needed to seriously work on my hydration. The thing is, I'm kind of finicky about my water. I can't drink it if it's not VERY COLD. Lukewarm water makes me 🤢. Also, I don't like refilling again and again throughout the day. So I needed something that could bring me very cold water, pleasant to drink, all day. The reviews on this mug looked promising, and since it can hold 50oz, I thought it seemed like a good idea. When it arrived, I washed it, loaded it with ice water, and promptly fell in love. This thing can hold the cold FOREVER. Okay not literally forever, but for a solid 12 hours or more. Middle of the night thirst? Boom, icy cold water waiting right there. In the morning? Still good to go! I started drinking water like I never have before. I was peeing crystal clear. The mug doesn't leave any weird taste in the water, it's so easy to clean, and it handles heat like a champ. Chonky size notwithstanding, I started taking my mug everywhere. In the car, where it can be left in 100+ degree heat for eight hours and still have ice in it, at work, at the park, everywhere. I love my mug more than any other Amazon purchase ever, and that isn't hyperbole. Pretty soon, EVERYONE wanted to drink my water. My husband, my three kids, everyone was always wanting my water. I found myself filling my mug three or four times a day because everyone was always stealing it and drinking it. Soon everyone was way better hydrated than they ever had been before. They had their own water bottles, but my mug and my icy cold water were the preference by a mile. So we decided, after a year of this nonsense, that it was time for a second mug. Our white one arrived two weeks ago, and wouldn'tya know it, now BOTH mugs get refilled multiple times a day because everyone is drinking *so much* water. We now take both mugs everywhere we go. Having two certainly makes it easier to deal with when everyone in the car wants a turn with the water, so even though its awkward having two giant mugs around all the time, it's worth it. The white one is exactly the same as my trusty stainless, so both get 5/5 stars from me. I know this all seems too good to be true, but seriously everybody in my family drinks so much more water than we ever have before thanks to these mugs. They're fabulous. Get them. The straws a very hard, but it turns out a two year old with jaws of steel can still chew them closed, so if you have chewers in your family, you may need a different option. We bought silicone straws of the same size and that ended the straw-pocalypse. If you have no superhuman chewers to worry about, the straw that comes with the mug is very nice and perfectly adequate for the job. Also the mugs are pretty hardy. Our white one did break a lid when it fell out of the car top-down, but we were able to easily secure a replacement. They've withstood a lot of adventure and love and are still in great condition. We've never had a problem with leaky lids at all. The seal is very good. ... show more

  • Nice size and I love that the interior is stainless steel.
Size: 50oz Color: Opaque Gloss White
It is a great size. Even with ice in it I don't have to refill it to get through a meal, but I can still lift it and drink from it with one hand. The handle is a nice size and it is easy to grip and hold. I love that the inside is stainless steel. It could be a little more insulated. I wish the top was stainless steel and insulated. The straw is too big around so you suck in too much air making the straw unusable for me, the straw is absolutely worthless. I like that it has a wide base, since I don't plan to use it in my vehicle I wanted one that was shaped like a mug and had a handle for ease of use and stability. The main reason for giving it 4 stars is the lid being plastic and not insulated. ... show more

  • Wow... No kidding, the real deal, a game changer (some of us take our mugs pretty seriously)
Size: 50oz Color: Stainless Steel
I have actually been really excited about doing this review. When it came in the door, yes, it was the victim of some of those "oh boy, now what dld he purchase in AMAZON’s so far 2nd shipment of the day, I thought he said he said he was going to stop buying stuff" looks from the wife… But I laid low for a while and after shaking off what l was worried might cause the next ice age... I started playing with what I thought was just going to be "just another (but real nice/better looking than the rest) mug" so I read the instructions and.... What?... Ok fine, yes I am male and I barely glanced at them and then threw them away.... Sheesh, Stop interupting please. ;) The things I noticed right away (and yes, I save the best for the last) The lid and its opening covers… are made of high grade clear plastic , super strong and durable (take note, it is a no stink, ZERO PERCEPTIBLE FUMES SCENTS OR SMELLS.... like.... Well plastic. The fit of the lid is one of the items that might take you by surprise. The lid is mounted and sealed by the use of a couple of washers they look like silicone washers and the vacuum of installing the lid is actually what keeps it in place that and the tension from the washers as they rest between the lid and mug. Now the average person will think that it looks like it's going to fall out easy or when you go to take the lid out and find out that it actually does pull out easy… it can be something of a red flag but the way it actually works is pretty amazing because I've already had my mug sitting on the floor of the my vehicle floor a couple of days ago and it went rolling all around because I went around a corner too fast and nothing! No leaks not even a drop.... nothingI The lid, once you have used it will make you realize.... It is one of the best selling features of the mug and absolutely nothing to be worried about. All of the openings and their lids are right on par... Super solid seals... If they are closed and the mug falls over or goes on a roll about... Just smile, you're good. Build quality It really is absolutely perfect.... There are ZERO spots where you look at it and think... "Could be nicer here or there" and that includes the straw and even shipping and packaging. Even though it's made of metal... It is surprisingly light weight but not at the cost of you still grabbing it and thinking... This is one super tough mug. The stainless steel used is excellent.. It Doesn't show smudges easily and mine has already taken a few tumblers (pun intended)... Not a scratch or dent. The handle It's a handle very durable , it works, it looks nice and where it should be... That's it..... It's just a handle…. Moving along The main body... I am going to finish this in two parts to help rivet you to your seats in anticipation.... Ready? The container material…. Quality is what TRULY..... Even SERIOUSLY, (what? I can to do serious! Moron... I toad you to stop interuptingl) is AMAZING... ALMOST MYSTERIOUS about this otherwise normal mug! I like to drink palmagrante or cranberry juice a LOT... (usually around 3 parts filtered fridge water, including ice and 1part juice).... Every day I go through at least 1 to 3 of them (50 ounce mugs) and been doing this for MANY years... So I know this drink and the flavor extremely well. Or so I thought I did. I have been drinking out of 32 ounce dual wall give away mugs for around 25 or more years every day... Snap on lid, durable plastic and then the last two years I have been drinking from a Bubba mug, 50 ounce. On my VERY FIRST and every subsequent reduce mug of juice or other beverages, the actual taste of the drink is incredibly bright, more fresh tasting, more exact and it is a completely obvious and noticeable quality to me... This is for me an actual exciting feature.... I am a week and a half in and every time I go for a drink.... As soon as I see the mug and remember how much better my drinks taste.... I get that "happy tummy" look on my face... Well, that's what my wife calls it. And now ladies and gentlemen the feature you've all been waiting for.. okay well, I think it's exciting... The insulation Factor I want you to know that this knowledge and experience comes at no simple cost... This complicated testing was not something easy to describe, define or perform .... (yes, fine, you caught me this time, that is BS) ((can some please ask that person to go away)) I guess the best way of explaining it is this... Around 10pm I filled my newly received reduce mug for the first time.... Got to bed late, up early and made my way through the day.... Anyway... It was around 11 pm the following evening and I was starting a little electronics project (of course I'm a computer/electronics geek.... Who else is up that late STARTING a project?) and I figured I would refill the mug again, sorry, can't remember which refill it was... so I am walking to the fridge and I go for one last drink to make space and.... Wait for it.... Heck yeah, there is still a lot freaking ice left in this thing!! ... And you know what, every day since then this reduce mug is still blowing me away… ok, it's true.... My life might be needing a little more excitement lately but just the sam... durability/reliability, good looks (hey, whatever.... It's plain but at least it doesn't look ugly, that's what really matters to a guy) and performance This is one badass mug! ... show more

  • Love these cups
Size: 50oz Color: Opaque Gloss Mild Mint
This is my second purchase of this mug. I love these cups! The handle has a nice grip and no matter how much ice I add the cup never sweats! Also they come in a wide range of colors, this time I got the mint green one. It looks so much nicer in person.

  • I use it every day
This is a great mug. I use it for ice water. It will take two full trays of ice cubes. I can leave it on the counter overnight and the water is still ice cold. That said, it is quite big, and when it's full, it's kind of heavy. It's hard to pick it up with one hand, and if you use the handle you have to put your thumb on top and it causes the lid to slightly pop off. Also, the bands from the handle that go around the mug have an edge, so crap gets stuck in there, and you need like a toothpick or something to clean it out. My straw dented the second day I had it. But i still love it. ... show more
