Compact little water kettle but plenty for 2 large cups of coffee or noodles. Super lightweight but seems well made. Nice carrying bag to keep the lid on in transit. Could be used to store tea bags or coffee inside the kettle

Needed a bit larger kettle for heating up water, so purchased this one. Tested it on an alcohol/spirit stove, and it heated up just fine. It pours without making a mess. It stayed secure on the top of the stove, and heated up relatively quickly. There is a decent amount of plastic on both the top of the lid and the bail/handle. While it did ok with a stove, I really would be leery of putting this kettle into a fire where you could not control the heat as well - all of that plastic would probably melt. I also make sure the handle was staying in the upright position while heating, so it would not melt to the stove itself. The lid is pretty loose-fitting, so when you pour you have to either hold it with your other hand or use a finger from your hand holding the handle. Not a huge thing, but its not a snug fit. I really wanted just a kettle for a solo camp trip. I tried a pack where you got multiple pots. But the other items were not worth it. Just get the solo kettle if that is what you want. Boils quickly, easy to clean. And the lid clamps on, and won't just randomly fall off.

We used the kettle to heat up water for ☕️ in our teardrop's outdoor kitchen. Somehow, I was expecting it to whistle when it was ready, which it did not do. To overcome this, just listen for boiling sounds and look for the steam emanating from the spout. It holds enough for about two cups of ☕️. It worked just fine. We bought this two years ago for use in camping vacations. Absolutely love everything about it! So much so I'm going out of way to write this review. We camp from May to August every yr and kettle is used every morning for tea bag and Melitta coffee. It boils fast. Handle has plastic/rubberized cover and keeps my hand from burning. Not sure how, since it was just sitting on a propane camping stove, but I stepped away for a moment and the handle melted... that aside: works great. Seems pretty rust resistant, the value is pretty good. Doesn't whistle super loud like other kettles (bonus!) Pretty durable and was pretty easy to clean.
