I really wanted just a kettle for a solo camp trip. I tried a pack where you got multiple pots. But the other items were not worth it. Just get the solo kettle if that is what you want. Boils quickly, easy to clean. And the lid clamps on, and won't just randomly fall off.

Very pleased with this little teapot, works well in our camper, just the right size for a couple cups of pour-over coffee. Only negative to me was the lid— it comes out easily when you tilt the pot to pour. Seems like it could snap it a little tighter. Minor thing, though.

We bought this two years ago for use in camping vacations. Absolutely love everything about it! So much so I'm going out of way to write this review. We camp from May to August every yr and kettle is used every morning for tea bag and Melitta coffee. It boils fast. Handle has plastic/rubberized cover and keeps my hand from burning. I’m able to fit my micro stove , fold up utensils, small can and bottle opener inside . I se it to boil water for coffee and hot chocolate. I bought this kettle for hiking. What can I say - it's a kettle. But it is very light and does what it is supposed to do. The build quality is very good and I can't see how you could get a better kettle for the money. Highly recommended.

I really like the compact size of this kettle. Great for camping and just having enough water for some coffee. I use it with my Aeropress so I don't need a ton of water but it's also great for the dehydrated food and cup o' noodles for a quick snack. It hold a good amount of water but I am concerned that if I drop it if it will hold together. I guess that's the balance between being lightweight vs heavy gauge steel or something. I like to use this tea kettle on top of the wood stove for hot water & to add additional moisture to the air in the winter time. Let it sit there, warm up, and when you're ready make a cup of tea.
