Most of this type of breaker have battery and load markings next to the appropriate terminal. Most of the other brands indicate that the battery terminal is where the breaker swings away from, which per the wording on other brands is the "top". However, after asking the seller which terminal is battery and load, they specified that like the others the "top" is the battery, but the words on this one are the opposite direction. So which is "top"? Who knows. This appears to be a defective product because the words are printed upside down and there are no instructions or terminal labels.     • Tripping at less than 45a
installed in a 12v battery charging circuit with power fed by a solid state converter. Charge Amperage reading on the battery monitor was 43.4 A, verified by a Kline DC clamp on meter on the 400A scale at 43.3 Amps (taken at the cable from the converter next to the breaker). Breaker trips after 12- 15 minutes charging. Will return the breaker. ... show more

Installed the 60 amp breaker to protect a 40 amp DC-DC charger and it tripped immediately. Useless!
