  • Beautiful Album
Item as described and well packaged This is a good example of why people collect Vinyl in the 1st place. The Artwork is awesome though Kate Bush is my wife's thing and not mine the albums sounded great and played flawlessly. My only complaint is with USPS .... the mail lady literally threw shipping box onto our porch from about 15 feet away. This is where the packaging comes in and thankfully the album was well packaged and arrived undamaged. ... show more

  • Listening to this CD is a great deal of fun
If one is used to a lot of repetitive lyrics, Kate's writing frees you from that drudgery. For the CD 'The Red Shoes" there are a lot of flavors (back cover photograph is a clue). The track 'Constellation of the Heart' has one of the funniest arguments between two parties. 'The Red Shoes' has an Irish influence - and you'll just have to dance 'til your legs fall off - or become a helicopter. 'You're the One' is a tale of having to let go after a relationship - Kate makes her feelings known in an obvious fashion. 'Rubberband Girl' is a story about being more flexible - the video you'll find online is a total hoot. 'Why Should I Love You' is Kate's duet with Prince - 'nuf said. Two guitar gods - Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton - add to the fun. Get this CD and know real songwriting. ... show more
