I see complaints of a lack of 5G on verizon… it is NOT because of the phone. It is literally verizon. They dont allow unlocked phones to access 5G unless the phone was originally a verizon phone that got unlocked… yall are literally rating this phone low for something they cant control. Saw one review that said “very disappointing” 🙄… the only way they could fix this is by locking their phones to verizon and u purchase it at a retail verizon dealer…u wanna pay $700 for a phone 2 generations old? such as being able to use "full screen mode" navigation buttons while using another launcher/desktop. More customization in the status bar is a must since pulling it down fully brings it down which is annoying. Phone runs hot while gaming but that's expected I think. Gaming: No headphone jack but there's a dongle added so thx ig. You will cover the speaker while gaming because it's side mounted. Hot!!!! Don't buy, very buggy. Apps always crash, phone randomly force restarts constantly. Some apps you click on won't even open anymore so I had to download alternate apps for web browsing and other tasks. Battery life is atrocious and the service on this phone is TERRIBLE. Says it's 5G and compatible with AT&T but my GF won't even send me texts anymore cause I won't get them for hours so she messages me on Facebook instead. I have a galaxy A71 and it's a much better phone. Going to put my sim card in that instead. Trash phone. ... show more

Red Magic 6R phone has excellent poor thermal conductivity as soon as you turn on the game the phone becomes very hot. Also, the phone has just over two hours of battery life while playing games and less than six hours without gaming. But if you don't consider whether the phone is hot or not then it is good for gaming. I'd summarize the pain points as poor battery life and the tendency to get hot while in use. ... show more
