I'm always on the lookout for shelves like these because I really like the style, so I was happy to find these. The quality could not be better, but I think the price could be. The shelves are very easy to install, are very sturdy, look great, and with a 24 inch length and 6inch depth there's plenty of room for your nick-nacks.     • Simple rustic look, rough sanded finish, with nice looking pipe brackets.
This review is for the AZ L1 Life Concept Reclaimed Wood Shelves with Black Industrial Pipe Brackets. It isn’t often you see shelves made of real solid pieces of wood, but these definitely are. They have a simple rustic finish with a light-brown stain. The wood itself is sanded, but not completely smooth. It has more of a rough sanded texture and feel when you rub your hands across the surface. Given the size of these shelves and the fact they are ¾” thick real wood, they are a good bit heavier than most fiberboard or fake wood shelves you may have encountered before. This does make them strong and durable, but by the time you add in the industrial pipe brackets, you have to be sure you are securely anchoring them to the wall. It is preferable to screw them into wall studs, which are typically 16” apart, which will provide support for heavy items such as books. These boards are almost 24”, so that shouldn’t be a problem if the studs position is acceptable for your particular spot. Otherwise be sure to use some really good sheet rock anchors, and don’t put a lot of weight on these such as heavy books. ... show more

    • Simple look
I like the simple look of these shelves. They feel like real wood and are heavy when using the industrial pipe brackets. I made sure to install these into the studs otherwise I wouldn't have been able to put much of anything on them.
