I love the head lamp, the brightness and the different modes. I use it for night fishing, and it's mostly so I can use my gopro at night. Everybody who owns a gopro knows how horrible they are in low lighting environments but with this head lamp its works amazing. Only flaw is the head strap. I took of the original mount off the head strap and with cement glue bonding I mounted a gopro mount instead so I can use a gopro head strap. Way tighter, fits my head good and snug. That's my only complaint really but I modified it to make it work, so overall. I'm really satisfied. I'd recommend it to a friend ... show more

I am keeping the headlamp because I need a right now but find it rather heavy when wearing it. I was expecting a brighter "white" light. It does have great distance cast however, there is a dark spot in the middle of the circle when casting.

Edit: I posted the original review like a week ago. This company saw my review and sent me a full refund simply for the inconvenience. They even mentioned that they were sorry and are glad no one got hurt. Wow stand up customer service. I'll buy worry free next time for sure. I'd take photos but I already cleaned up the mess. I thought nothing of it when my son asked to see my light as I have had several of these types of lights in the past. Next thing I hear is glass shattering and I run to see what he broke, he is just standing there saying "I'm sorry daddy." As it looked like he simple dropped it while climbing onto a chair (he is 4). It only fell a foot or so and hit the tile floor. Luckily he wasn't hurt. I gave it a 3 star as it is one of the brighter lights I have owned but the main downside is that if you drop it or bang it then the glass cover will more than likely shatter. I cleaned out the glass and the light seems to work fine although the main reason why I liked these style of lights is that they are pretty water resistant if not water proof and I can use them in the rain. Although I won't be able to do that anymore... Meh, I will just have to find a use for it. Sucks I paid $30 for a light I won't use much anymore. ... show more

Its a decent light, but big and bulky and heavy for just a forehead light. If you are not using a hard hat with it and are not, planning on being a part time coal minor dont bother. Its heavy and your neck will be tired. I had a headache after it felt like a anchor on my forehead. Its a decent brightness. Charges fine for the most part. ... show more
