I purchased this mattress because of its reviews and specs. It was between this one or one $70 cheaper that had awesome reviews and many more reviews. I gave this one a chance because it was new. Reviews were all from 2020. Excited to get it, I opened my door to a beat up box and opened. The tape didnt do well during shipping or someone opened it. Brought it up to my room, took out of the box and it was easy to open. The plastic was easy to just pull off. The mattress itself is a good weight so if youre a woman you may need help. Upon putting it on my bed i noticed a snag in the cover. I let the bed sit and it was fully fluffed out within an hour. A couple days later my new sheets arrived and i noticed they were huge on my mattress so i decided to measure the bed and it was about an inch shorter than desribed all the way around and around 9-9.5 inches in height not 10" like described. The mattress does its job regualting your body temp and keeps you from sweating which was my main worry. It does its trick there. I ended up giving this company the benefit of the doubt and purchasing their bamboo mattress protector and that was an epic fail. I sweat so much. So i dont recommend purchasing the mattress protector. The companys customer service is awesome at resolving the problem. They took great care of me however they take a few days to get back to you each time you email back. To it will take about a week or longer to resolve the problem. Would i give them another chance? Came before expected delivery date which already was fast. Nervous obviously to spend this much money on something I couldn’t see/feel for myself and also the fact that there weren’t thaaattt many reviews (some mattresses have hundreds to thousands of reviews).. so let me just say.. I forgot what it was like to wake up in the morning and my back didn’t hurt. I wake up and its like I’m forgetting something ha! I’m telling you, I genuinely didn’t know it was possible to wake up and not feel achy and sore. This mattress was an incredible investment please gift yourself a great nights sleep because it is so worth it and important!! ... show more

    • RECCI has no Fiberglass in the Cover or excessive Smell - Great Price - Good Seller
RECCI has no Fiberglass in the Cover and does not smell unless I put my nose right on it. The cover is very nice and you can remove it without any danger of fiberglass. Delivery from BeArtist (to California) was three days earlier than expected. I'm happy with this seller. The price is quite reasonable, under $200 + tax. I think most of the people looking at it will find the 4 inches of memory foam on top to be perfect. This has 4 inches of memory foam on top, and 6 inches poly-foam on the bottom. Because I have arthritis in my hips, I was not able to keep it. This is the BEST memory foam mattress for the money that I could find. As comfortable as it was, and as much as I wanted to make it work, I had to find a custom solution. I am going to have to build a custom mattress from different layers of memory foam and regular foam. If this 10 inch mattress had two more inches of memory foam on top of it, and 2 inches less poly-foam on the bottom, that might have worked. But I did not want the mattress to be taller than ten inches total. ... show more

    • Fantastic Mattress
The mattress is probably the best mattress you can buy under $500. The first few nights it felt like the mattress was changing in firmness. I attribute that to the fact it comes compressed and needs to expand. Since then it’s been fantastic. Now when I go to bed it feels a little firm at first but quickly adjusts to my body. This is so comfortable that every time I lay down I fall asleep. Will certainly be recommending to friends and family that are looking for a new mattress. ... show more

    • Time to find a new mattress
UPDATE: After sleeping on this mattress for a few months, I’ve decided I’m going to have to find a new mattress. This one kills my back. I find myself tossing and turning in the early morning because of my back hurting and I definitely can’t sleep in anymore :/ It feels comfortable when I go to bed but I just don’t think my body likes memory foam type mattresses as I don’t have this issue with traditional spring mattresses. Originally, I bought a mattress that said medium firm and when I laid on it I could tell it was too firm for me. The RECCI hybrid mattress said medium soft so I decided to give it a try and this mattress is wonderful. I think medium soft is a good way to describe it. I weigh about 215 lbs. and I don’t sink way down into the mattress but I also don’t have my shoulder and hip hurting anymore when I sleep on my side. It’s very supportive but doesn’t feel like I’m laying on a board. Now with that said, it did take a couple weeks to get used to my new mattress. I never had any type of memory foam mattress before so for the first 2 weeks or so, my back did get rather stiff. I bought a 2-inch memory foam topper to help but ended up not needing it. Overall, I am thrilled to finally have a mattress that is comfortable. I will say the box the mattress came in was very torn up when it arrived and I contacted RECCI and they immediately resolved the issue because the mattress cover was torn a little in the process.     • "Snuggly"
As my 5 year old would say "it's so snuggly" I needed a new mattress not only because my old one was just plain gross but also my back was always killing me whenever I woke up. Sometimes my back hurting WOULD wake me up.... this thing is so soft. No more back pain. My only issue (and it's not even really an issue) is it has a kind of weird smell when you first get it.
