    • Awesome for after surgery!
I had spinal fusion surgery on Jan 2 '24. I bought this since I'm not allowed to bend. It has been a awesome so far! There's so many things i use it for. Obviously, anything I drop I can easily pick up. I also use it to put on my pants. I can pull my pants up far enough to reach so I don't bend. I use it for laundry. It's not the greatest with heavy things so some wet clothes are difficult to grab but oh well. I can actually do my laundry without having to reach into the washer. That's what matters. I reach things in high and low shelved. It's extremely durable. A+ ... show more

    • Works well after surgery
I got this for a friend to use after hip surgery. It grips very well for most typical objects. It cannot pick up a phone after it falls flat though. You need to be able to pinch the phone on the front/back by tipping it up. It squeaks a lot though! I’m hoping we can reduce that with use

I bought a Reach Grabber Tool to help me pick up items from the floor while healing from left hip dislocation. It is intuitive to use. It takes very little grip strength, yet holds most light weight items securely. I have already used it for 3 weeks. This stick is perfect for anything that needs to be picked up especially if you have back pain, pregnant or not able to reach things in the floor. The length is perfect and the grip is strong. I will say the handle is very not the smooth you need to have hand strength.

I had an ancient one of these that finally started jamming. This thing is space-age compared to that rickety old thing. The Pros: Handle is easy to hold (no gripping needed) for a senior user. The wand is super lightweight to manipulate and the bottom of the device is nicely sized with its superior grabbing ability. It’s easy to use but it doesn’t grab too strong. Good for picking small things from the floor. Cans and pantry things are a little more difficult to get. But what I needed was picking things from the floor, which works well if it is not heavy.
