Liquid outflow Warm Tips: 1. The fluid you are trying to extract has to be HIGHER than the influent bucket. 2. There's a mark "arrow" on the surface of hand pump.Please keep the arrow down before pumping. 3. The fitting end must kept inside of the fluid not just on the surface. 4.     • Works well but hose has many kinks
This is a great concept and is very affordable. I would have given it 5 stars except that the plastic hose has many kinks in it from being packed in the box which severely limits the flow of anything. I got a replacement hose from the hardware store and it works fine. Tip: out your thumb over the hole at the ends of the bulb and see which side sucks in and which pushes out, then mark it with a sharpie so it’s obvious which way the flow will go when you are actually using it. ... show more

I marked the side that goes into tank I want to syphon from. This thing is perfect. Also the hose clamps have little pads to tighten by hand so I didn't even need a tool. * I chose to cut the hose exactly in half because I felt that's perfect to go in deeper tanks and leaves a lot of room on the outlet end for just in case. ... show more
