If you spend long hours in the kitchen, then an anti-fatigue cushioned mat is absolutely necessary. This mat is thick and well cushioned to help ease my foot and correct my posture. I love that it's waterproof which is a huge plus in my household filled with pets. It's easy to clean up and truly a no fuss type of mat. My major drawback is the sizing. It's way too small. It restricts my mobility in the kitchen to one small area so if you're looking for comfort, I think it's important to know the dimensions that this one is just too tiny. Not only does the pictures when you choose your color deceive you by showing 2 pieces but the original description stated 2 pieces. I received only one piece and if I am wrong about the description I can for sure say the pictures showed 2 pieces. As for the quality of the mat, it's a great mat. It's thick with plenty of cushion and feels like it was made amazing with great materials that would last forever. Unfortunately I have to knock this review down due to description being incorrect. I did not order this rug for the anti-fatigue benefits but tested them anyway while doing my dishes. The rug felt comfortable and not so thick that I'm tripping over it or feel like I'm leaning or unstable. I actually ordered this for use in my bathtub while I'm running my portable washing machine. I don't want to disturb my neighbors (or alert my landlord) when I'm using my portable washing machine. I have another mat but things can get quite noisy while the machine is spinning out in my tub and my current mat doesn't do much for reducing vibration or noise. This mat reduces any wobbling that may occur in my tub, decreases any noise and is waterproof. It's the perfect solution. When I'm not using it in the tub under my washer, I also use it if I'm doing household tasks that require me to be on my hands and knees. The mat cushions my knees and also provides a bit of rebound that makes it slightly easier to get back up on my feet. I spent a weekend assembling furniture and I was so relieved to have this mat to kneel on instead of unforgiving hardwood floors. This mat is slip resistant from what I can tell, sufficiently padded and thick to prevent fatigue and perfect for so many uses other than a floor mat. I would even put this inside a dog cage to keep dogs more comfortable as long as they aren't chewers. The uses for this mat are endless. ... show more

This is a great mat for the kitchen. I spend a lot of time in there cycling through dishes and cooking and this helps take the pressure off my feet.
