Took phone to local office to activate. they took the chip from my currently active on system I_Phone and which had previously been in an Android and had worked in both. This is one of the slowest phones I've ever used. It's incredibly laggy and glitchy. A lot of patience is required when waiting for apps or pages to load. It may be good as a backup phone but I would not recommend anyone buy this.

I only got this to be able to use with a few apps, not even with phone service. It responds so slowly when typing or swiping that it got frustrating.
