  • Quality for the price (Under $90)
Color: Black Style: Kaira Pro Set: Xbox
I've owned a lot of headsets over the past decade. Here's my initial review after using it for the past month. Like: 1. Easy setup 2. Quality surround sound. I'm using it with Dolby Atmos. 3. Nice Xbox app allows for appropriate level of customization. 4. Mic monitoring works really well. 5. You can remove the mic boom if you don't need it. 6. Very comfortable for hours of gaming. I have large ears and a larger head. Don't like: 1. You need to update the firmware via a computer. App only lets you know if your firmware is up to date. 2. Chat/Game balance wheel doesn't make a sound or click to let you know when it's balanced. You need to count the number of click turns and balance manually. Hopefully the build quality give me 3+ years of gaming but only time will tell. My last headset (Microsoft Wireless) mic plastic casing cracked and broke on its own. Definitely brittle cheap plastic was used as I take good care of my accessories. ... show more

  • Best Headset I've Owned
Color: White/Black Style: Kaira Pro HyperSpeed Set: PlayStation
Do not be intimidated by the 200$ price tag; if you have the budget for these headphones, pull the trigger. Or wait for a deal. I bought these and so far the Haptic Feedback they provide has been truly life-changing; I use Dolby Atmos on my desktop and this combination makes electronic music, heavy metal, and other music feel truly impactful; double bass feels as if I'm attending a metal concert, sometimes; I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to a basic headset after owning these things. They are predominantly plastic and sometimes creak more than you'd like, but feel sturdy enough that I'm not concerned about them breaking. Just treat them like your lady, gents! Also, I purchased the Hyperspeed model, which means you cannot customize the rumble the haptics provide; you can only increase or decrease incrementally. If you want a little bit more control over your experience, I suggest you purchase Dolby Atmos from the Microsoft Store or wherever. From there, you can fine-tune which settings you would like to use. They have a "game mode", a "music mode" a "movie mode" and more. I personally prefer music mode. Another geeky tip: if you're on a desktop, right-click the sound icon on the taskbar in the lower right. Select "open volume mixer" and select the icon for your headphones on the left; from there, you will find an "enhancements" tab for your headphones. The options I have available are bass boost, headphone virtualization, and loudness equalization, each with a settings option down below; I use bass boost and loudness equalization, and it absolutely makes a difference. Bass is far rumblier when you mess with these settings, and lower-frequency sounds are given more of a chance to reverb as opposed to higher-frequency sounds; this will result in a far better listening experience for you. Hope that helps! These headphones are 100% worth all the tinkering I had to go through to get the sound perfect. I absolutely love these and if they ever break, I'm going to have to find a way to purchase them again. They're that good. Fantastic work, Razer. (Included a picture of the headphones menu I spoke of; this is where you can make the adjustments!) ... show more

  • Not bad. Bass sounds weird
Color: Black Style: Kaira Pro Set: Xbox
The product is ok. Like others have said, bass sounds weird. It almost sounds like the bass is more than headset can handle and it sounds like blown speakers. Xbox connectivity is hit or miss sometimes.

  • Long lasting, durable and comfortable
Color: Black Style: Kaira Pro Set: Xbox
I'd like to start off by saying I have owned these headphones for a few years now, bought in 2021 and its 2025 now, and I still use them as my primary headset for gaming on both xbox and pc. The mic, from what I've been told by friends I play with, sounds amazing. The audio is good, but if you take the time and do some research and look for EQ profiles for the style of games that you play, they can sound great. The most comfortable headphones I have ever worn to this day, razer did a really good job of padding these headphones. I really can't say enough about the comfort of them. The durability on them and the drivers is amazing, I've dropped them quite a few times in the timespan that I have owned them, and they still work really well, I not long ago just started to experience a static noise for a second or 2 once every few days, seeing that it took nearly 4 years for that to happen with the wear and beating it has taken, I'd say is pretty good. With all of that said I would say it was worth the price I got them for when they released, and they are definitley worth the price now that they are even cheaper. ... show more

  • Worst wireless headset
Please read this if you’re on the fence about this headset. It claims it is built for Xbox. With ‘True’ Bluetooth. The connectivity is unbearable. Truly awful. At first, it sounds awful until you download the buggy xbox app to tweak the settings. After that, the biggest issue is crackling noises every minute or so. Apparently this is a known issue for this headset. It crackles constantly like it is losing connection. I called Razer support and they refused to admit it was a known issue. They offered for a replacement if I either 1. Payed for another headset in advance or 2. Go 3 weeks without a headset until they can determine if it is a manufacturing defect. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I had Amazon send me a replacement. SAME ISSUE. This new headset sounds like garbage. I forgot to mention, half of the time, the mute button does not work. Found that out the hard way when I’m having a personal conversation with my girlfriend and even though my headset is clearly set to muted, everyone in my party can hear what I’m saying. This headset looks cool, it feels durable, it is comfortable, but for actual usefulness, it is worse than any headset I have ever owned. I even turned off EVERY wifi/Bluetooth device in my house to verify there wasn’t any interference. Still, it could not stay connected. Whether I was in front of the tv or In the next room, both of the headsets don’t like Xbox’s. Check every Reddit forum about these. I wish I read them sooner. Like I said at the beginning, if you’re on the fence about this, do not buy it. For $140, you can get something way better. ... show more
