It connects fairly easily, and the sound is decent. I haven't tested the waterproof feature yet. The two less than perfect things I wanted to mention are: 1) oh my gosh are the buttons hard to push. I think that the actual button is quite a bit smaller than the indicator on the casing that you push, and if you're not directly over the center you have to push much harder than I find convenient. 2) regardless of how quiet you may have had it set when you turn it off, it comes back on at at least 50% volume. it makes a fairly loud "wake up" noise when you turn it on, and it turns the volume back up even if you had it low when you turned it off. If you're trying to use this in an office setting, or if by chance you want to turn it on when your partner is sleeping, it's going to be disruptive. It's not a deal breaker, and for $30 it's fine, but if this were really a $115 speaker, this would be unacceptable. It feels like a large price inflation to make it look like a great deal, if I'm being honest. But, again... for $30, the annoyances aren't so bad. ... show more

Surprisingly competent blue tooth speaker. The bass is full and the sound quality all you could ask for. And the form is small and easier to handle than the unit it replaced. I am very pleased with the price and performance of this speaker. Can you say value?
