The media could not be loaded. Pads work great. Fitment is great. No squeal. On my 2017 Mazda CX-5, I didn't know how to change it w an electric e brake system. I took off the old pads and put new ones on thinking I can just push the piston in w a clamp. That didn't work. YouTube told me put it in service mode. I did that but unfortunately I had the caliper off. It will expand the piston out and no way of getting it back in w a clamp. I had to remove the motor, use a ratchet to turn the nut in th back while preventing the piston from spinning using the service tool I borrowed from O'Reillys. Then had to bleed all my brakes. Took hours. Other side took 15 min. Learn from me. Order matters. ... show more

They were the right ones for the car. The factory ones the car came with had no give and were nice didn't have to push alot for it to brake. We went with these just to see how they would feel the give is a lot easier and push harder to brake which I personally wasn't used to since we had the originals since we bought the car. It's at 102k miles and brakes were grinding the pads definitely needed a replacement. So far we are good with the new ones and they work fine I do recommend for the price they aren't Toyota factory pads but they do the job car feels sturdy. ... show more

Seriously, it came with like 20 extra clamps, a few of each for different mounting systems that different cars use. I only needed two clamps for each of my two front brakes. The other 20+ will probably just waste away in my garage as I have no use for them. The breaks are more dusty than I imagined and would like to see, but I don't really mind as I don't need a squeaky clean car lol. The brake dust comes off pretty easily with a pressure washer at the car wash. Mounting was easy enough, given you have the required hardware, which is NOT INCLUDED. If you don't know what you need, just Google it. I have noticed that if I spray WD-40 on the parts where metal-to-metal contact occurs, it eliminates almost 100% of the noise. Even when you stomp on the brakes really hard, they are not very loud. As for longevity, these are looking like they will last a good 2 years or so (I drive about 1,500-2,000 miles a month. For about an hour's worth of work and $30, you cannot go wrong. If you are the kind of person who wants/expects quality at a fair price, then look no further than these brakes! Quality pads, pre-broken in. Mix of semi-metalic so I'm hoping it works a bit better than than pure ceramic on my wife's car. At 125K I purchased drilled and slotted rotors which came with ceramic pads. After about 10K miles the car started 'chugging' when stopping. Warped brake rotor type symptoms. I tried to burn off some glaze by dragging brakes for a mile and then some hard stops but it didnt really work better. Got 'free' replacement rotors with $31 shipping. Bought these brakes to try something better. Looking at the old rotors they dont look bad at all , pads either. So I kept both as spares if we put another 75K on the Vibe they might go back on (I hope not) . I was not real happy with the caliper slider pin grease when I did the rebuild this time so I scraped out all old grease and flushed with cleaner and repacked with pin grease. MAYBE that was the real problem. Please clean your pins and repack with proper slide lube. After one day of use the results are positive. I will update if I change my mind ever on these pads but they seem to be good. Came with stainless glide sheet metal and fit exactly right. I didnt need to grind the ears any which happens sometimes on cheap pads. These are four identical pads, with no wear indictor squeakers if that matters to you. ... show more
