This will not be a Vine Review, or one from those that received a free product… I funded this polisher. I have several paint correction DA systems, but wanted to grab a rotary for those occasional times when one is needed. Not wanting to fund $175 and up for a rotary, this unit appeared to be a good
solution for occasional needs. Upon receipt of the system, my hopes were pretty well dashed. The power cord is a cheap plastic wrap light gauge cord as opposed to rubber wrapped. The strain relief for the power cord is very sloppy. Upon further inspection, there are no motor brush access ports on the side of the polisher. You will need to split the case to get into the brushes. Upon initial power up, unit had allot of gear noise. I traditionally will replace the gear case grease. The gear housing is held by 4) M4x15mm very cheap screws. I changed out the gear grease and upon reassembly, one of the screws had been over tightened when it was assembled and was starting to pull the aluminum threads from the housing. I purchased some quality allen head cap screws (M4x16mm) and they worked out fine. Gear noise was much improved after the re-grease. Just be aware, this is not a quality rotary polisher. It’s a polisher that should be used for occasional light use and nothing beyond that. You will need to do a number of things to even get it to that point. After discounts I only paid around $65 and it’s a push to say it’s worth that. The accessories that are included are low quality at best. I will keep the unit at this point as it will do light duty work only. Shame on me for not paying closer attention, but any product in that $59-79 range is going to be questionable. I think the BATOCA Rotary Buffer is probably better for the same monies, but a simple Harbor Freight unit would be a better choice…

While I might be inexperienced when it comes to this equipment, that doesn't mean I don't know and am unable to spot quality in a VERY well built tool or piece machinery. am HIGHLY impressed with it. Take my review with a grain of salt though, because I have VERY limited experience in reference to car detailing, BUT in my limited time using it, I HIGHLY recommended that you consider this particular polisher, before purchasing another that's double the cost.

I like the product it works. It is a bit heavier than expected. Only other complaint I have is when I received the item. I did not receive all the pads that was suppose to come with the item. It was missing 2 microfiber bonnets and the black sponge. I had plans to use for the weekend so I may send ba
ck only because very disappointed that I did not receive all of the items that was suppose to come with what I ordered. I spent the next day going to 3 different stores to find the pads that I needed that were missing from my order. I spoke with an amazon representative hoping they could just send the pads I was missing but they only suggest I return everything for an exchange. Very inconvenient.

Instructions are worthless

I'll let you know how it works after I do some research. Comes with two different applicator pads, sand discs, wool and microfiber pads, etc. Absolutely no directions on which pads to use applying compound vs wax. No recommended speeds for different tasks (cutting vs polishing, etc.). Leaning towards
sending it back for something that comes with some guidance. Not recommended unless you already know what you are doing.

Velcro does not stay attached to pad after cleaning them. Pad ripped right off. Not impressed at all.

Machine seems good and strong, however, it slows down when in use. Speed/Power is lost when buffing. I was really excited to use this in my detailing business, but I won’t. The black pad came a part once it hit the paint. Pads are worthless and that’s bcus I primed them.

Nice polisher for the money

I got this for one project I had in my house. Our current kitchen counter tops are stainless. It is so annoying seeing all the scratches and marks all over the place. My. Husband broke this polisher out and got to work polishing the counter tops to a mirror shine. Now the counters look amazing! Will
update when we use it on our cars and reach back to let you know how it works on them. Very pleased so far!

Plenty of torque and good selection of variable speeds

Been wanting to get a buffer/polisher for a while now and when I seen this offered on Vine I thought I'd give it a try. Unit was packaged well, arrived in great condition. Lots of included accessories, more than I needed for my use. I got it to buff out our RV and oh boy did it work well. Quickly was
hed the RV to get all the accumulated dirt and bug bits off then proceeded to go right into cleaning and polishing. The buffer is fairly straight forward to setup and use, the D handle was great to use in some situations and then being able to change over to the straight handle for vertical use was a nice option. There is plenty of torque available in the motor and I highly recommend you take it easy on the amount of pressure applied, works best when you just let if float on the surface. The only drawback as mentioned in another review was that the weight of the buffer over time gets to be tiring and breaks are necessary. If you are just doing work in the horizontal then might not be much of an issue but vertical like sidewalls of an RV is tiring. Overall I give this 4 solid stars.

I like the ease of use of this. Very good for beginners but please still be careful not to apply to much pressure. It is possible, as with any buffer, to burn your paint. Lighter than some I've used. Quality seems good. Fine for personal use. Not commercial quality but fine for me!

The RAYBAO Buffer Polisher has a ton of pads and a ton of speed settings. This is definitely not a cheap chain store buffer. It's heavy and sturdy. It is fatiguing to use after long stretches but does complete tasks efficiently. It has enough torque that you absolutely do not want to bare down on it
when buffing out your pain jobs. It is also 120v and not pneumatic, which I was concerned about with it from the images provided. It is very simple to use even if it does look a little intimidating. Its a quality tool!
