Pretty easy install, gasket is thick enough so didn’t need a different one. I’ve been thru 3 auto car washes and about 6 days or rain and no leaks. The reverse/bed and brake light are pretty bright even though the lenses is smoked. The red isn’t very bright during the day with sun hitting it but easily seen by those behind you. It's not exactly a perfect fit. Must be a little forcefull to get it in there just right. It does look good, seems to function properly and no leaks at this point.

Love the way this new LED brake light looks and hopefully will fix leak. Suspect old gasket allowed water in during hard rain. Removed old and cleaned surface with rubbing alcohol to remove old gasket and dirt/debris. I used new screws and screw gaskets for better fit. I had to snip off “tabs” on back of light (as instructed in instructions) for proper fit. Glad I saved at least $100 paying shop to do it. I am not a mechanic. Also note the “other dongle thingy” next to 4-pin plug on back of light. I was told this is a resistor for the LED and to leave it alone. I just tucked in with the plug and all set. ... show more
