  • Best Clone
Scent: Rasasi La Yuqawam
Look, this for sure was inspired by TF. If i had to choose between the two. Im picking Rasasi for two reasons: scent and price. Is this a Tuscan Leather clone? Not quite. The obvious similarities are the fruitiness and the leather with a hint of tobacco. TF however has a woody scent to it Rasasi does not. What Rasasi does different is pack a stronger raspberry scent to mellow their equally intense (some may say harsh) leather. The intense sweet fruit and the worn leather scent are perfectly married in this bottle. When worn in the winter the scent cuts through the most frigid temps. The dry down is still sweet but with a pleasant tobacco leaf. Some may prefer TF with the initial spray as the leather is not as harsh or intense as Rasasi, but Rasasi for sure wins in the dry down as it becomes almost mysterious and intriguing and draws people in as they try to figure the scent. The price point is obviously more appealing. However if youre buying Rasasi with the hopes of getting Tuscan Leather at a better price point you may be disappointed. You are kot getting Tuscan Leather for $80. If you want Tuscan Leather you have to buy Tuscan Leather. Are they similar yes! But the differences are more noticeable than their similarities…if fragrances are your thing. ... show more

  • Dear Tuscan Leather: take a BACK SEAT, please.
Scent: Rasasi La Yuqawam
Whoa! Was my first reaction to this fragrance. I sprayed Tom Ford Tuscan Leather (TFTL) on one arm and this one on the other and they are very similar. The difference on my skin is that this fragrance is a bit more fruity, which I like. It’s not to say that it’s sweet but the fruit is a little bit more prominent. The leather part of the smell is spot on and the quality is right there with TFTL. Scent bubble, sillage, staying power...all excellent. Fantastic purchase! I rate this 10/10. This leans more unisex than TFTL because the of the fruit. ... show more

  • My mistake on first review
Scent: Rasasi La Yuqawam
My first review was very bad and I was upset, the bottle looked to be missing some juice but after ordering a new bottle of the tobacco blaze from another shop I see its just the way the bottles are made. When you put them up to a light you can see that there is a big gap in the juice. All I know is this is factory how they ship, If there is a full 75ml in there or not idk "as long as know they come like this and it had nothing to do with vendor". I did also complain and had suspicions about the performance. The pour homme is a beautiful leather and I freaking love both tobacco and pour homme they are among some of the smoothest scents I have come across, brilliant. But beware they do not project long at all , I mean for me we are talking 30 minute projection then its just a very light sillage and skin scent for the next say 2 hours. And I mean light! Its really a shame because if these had even 4-5 hour projection or decent scent trail I would truly be in love, just brilliant scents that imo any frag head can fully enjoy. I cannot recommend these no matter how much im in love with the opening of the scent, with that poor of performance your 50$ to 75$ will get you much further with a scent you and others can actually smell on you imo. Im still waiting for ambergris showers to show but I totally expect the same performance issue. ... show more

  • Skin chemistry is a BIG factor perhaps Quality Control too
Scent: Rasasi La Yuqawam
It is not the most complex perfume but it served its purpose... I wanted a leathery scent that would get compliments like the cheapo $5 Royal Stallion from 2019 with better quality but not the price tag of Tom Ford and the silage of Guerlain EDP. Many say the fragrance is industrial and overly sweet. I have smelled industrial leather scents (Royal Stallion once sold at Five and Below Stores in a year where there were few leather scents) and this just does not have a fake smell. You can pick out some of the notes such as labdanum, oud, Jasimine and saffron which make up the accord. Perhaps one or two of those are artificial but they are blended well. Discernable layers are there. The raspberry is light. I expect to get many compliments from the EDP. It is certainly better than most main stream high end colognes readily available at your local Sephora or Ulta. ... show more

  • You’ll almost puke
Scent: Amber Wood
So much praises of this perfume for nothing! It has a very strong cheap smell, I should have just stuck to the low reviews and believed them, this lesson cost me $54. + tax . Unfortunately it’s not eligible for returns.

  • Strong amber/smokey notes
Scent: Rasasi La Yuqawam
I recently tried this fragrance, and my initial impression was that it had an overwhelming amount of amber notes. The opening was quite strong and almost too intense for my taste. However, after about an hour, the fragrance began to settle and transform. The amber softened, allowing the other notes to come forward, creating a much smoother and more balanced scent. ... show more

  • Strong Oud
Scent: Amber Wood
Let me preface by stating that this fragrance is similar to Oud Maknoon by SwissArabian. It is a very strong oud that an aficionado can only appreciate. There is not even an inkling of tobacco detectable, regretfully. Why they decided to advertise it as a tobacco fragrance is enigmatic. Those who say it has tobacco are incorrect. Do not expect an ounce of a tobacco fragrance such as Herod. The oud is not what you find in European brands. I am not sure who is using a better oud, but I am positive that European brands rip you off. Furthermore, it is difficult to see how it is an apricot fragrance, since the only discernible fruit for me is lemon (not listed in the notes). It vanishes after a while, and then the oud lingers forever. Very audacious, exceedingly masculine, and slightly overwhelming when first sprayed. If you are not familiar with Arabian perfumes, first test this before purchasing! I love it! ... show more
