Scent: aquatic scent
This is for sure a very universal and commercial scent that is done well. Rather than of crafting something unique for sake of the art of perfumery like many niche fragrances do, this scent’s commerciality ensures the juice’s broad appeal and salability. And there’s nothing wrong with that. This a great gift option or blind buy with low margin of error. This is a scent that I can see being manufactured by L’Oreal or Coty for their high end designer licenses. Or a flanker for something like a YSL Libre or Dior Sauvage. It’s just that universally appealing. It’s suitable for all occasions and all seasons. The bergamot and citrus notes ring through sharply and the cinnamon and cardamom notes are not very pronounced. The aquatic quality lingers quite a while, creating a lovely and fresh waft around you. The amber woodiness adds a great deal of warmth and enforce a very traditionally masculine scent profile. To note though, many reviews mentioned it being sweet. But I think it’s more of a mellow roundedness than a saccharine flavor sweet like any of the Valentino Born in Romas or the original Mugler Angel. Good longevity and solid projection, though the sillage is not super strong if that is important to you. And of course, the value is unbeatable. If you are in the market for a solid, inoffensive, classically masculine, versatile, wearable, and wildly affordable fragrance, this is a bulls eye. I was gonna give it 4 stars because I don’t love super commercial scents and in fact seek out Arabian fragrances for the fact that I’ll be less likely to smell myself coming and going. The media could not be loaded. I’ve been seeing Hawas for Him by Rasasi all over social media for a while now. It’s been around since 2015, yet it’s still hyped on TikTok like it just dropped yesterday. And now, they’ve released Hawas ICE, which people are saying is even better and more mass-appealing. But let’s talk about the OG Hawas—I’ll break it down for you, and you can decide if it’s worth adding to your collection. Quick Thoughts: Bottle: Feels solid, high quality, with a nice metal cap. Spray: Not a pressurized atomizer, but decent enough. Opening: Starts off a bit synthetic, but give it a few minutes—it gets better. Scent Profile: Fruity and fresh, with notes of plum, cardamom, orange blossom, and bergamot. If you like a sweet, tropical, and slightly spicy scent, this could be for you. Middle Eastern Vibe: There’s a hint of that Middle Eastern cologne DNA in the dry down. Not overpowering, but if you’re not into that style, you might not love it. Longevity: Decent, but varies by skin. On me, it lasts 3-4 hours with 3-5 sprays before fading. Strong scent, so don’t overspray. Good blind buy for a scent. Not fantastic or jaw dropping, but it is nice and light. Not to over bearing. I think for the price it’s a good buy. Pair with unscented body lotion or Vaseline and I think it’ll be great for when you put it on after a shower and getting dressed for the occasion. I’d give it 5 stars, because I like the overall scent profile and longevity, and this is cheaper then anywhere else I’ve seen Hawas Ice going for, but I don’t think I received a full bottle/new. Looks as though someone purchased it, sprayed it quite a few times and then returned it. I could be wrong, and maybe this is how much is supposed to be in the bottle. I just assumed it would be filled all the way, not with like half an inch missing from the bottle. I still enjoy it though, love the scent. ... show more

Scent: Hawas Ice For Him
Since I bought Hawas Ice by Rasasi, it has become one of my favorite perfumes. The first impression is amazing: a fresh and vibrant mix of frozen apple, bergamot and lemon, which gives it a citrusy and energizing touch. As time goes by, the fragrance becomes a bit sweeter and spicier thanks to the cardamom and plum, which gives it an elegant character without being overwhelming. The best thing is its durability. On my skin it easily lasts 8-10 hours, and on clothes even longer. Also, its projection is excellent; several people have asked me what perfume I am wearing. It is a versatile fragrance, perfect for any occasion, be it a day at the office or a night out.
