While preparing for this year's cruise and a separate snorkeling vacation, I watched a bunch of YouTube videos to familiarize myself with my destinations....I kept seeing this fin (the Avanti Super Channel) in videos. On a whim I bought a pair in red (to match my swimsuit, of course). I was a little cautious upon first seeing them as they felt sort of lightweight and soft...a little too flexible. I jumped into the pool this afternoon to give them a little test run....I crossed a good sized pool in twelve seconds! I flew back and forth a few times just to get a feel for the fins and let me tell you, I'm amazed by them. There was absolutely no strain on my calves or ankles and, like I said, I just flew through the water. (And they look awesome, if that matters to you.) Positive points: They are really lightweight. They are long enough but still fit in my luggage without a hassle. My Mares Volo Race fins are probably 4 inches longer. They flex enough (the super channel bit) and are soft for an REALLY easy kick. They really helped me fly across the water. I'm 6'2" and 235lbs...hardly shaped like a seal...but, I moved in these fins! The fit was spot on. (I bought a 11-12. I wear a solid size 12 shoe and my feet are normal to a bit on the wider side.) They look awesome! The price was right...I paid about fifty bucks for mine. (But, knowing how nice they are I'd pay more if I had to.) They are negatively buoyant. (I don't want them to be floaty!) Negative points: They are negatively buoyant. (If one goes overboard it's going to sink...but it will sink slowly leaving time for a quick grab.) The fit was spot on. (They were perfectly snug with no wiggle room. If you wear a size 13 shoe the 11-12 won't fit you unless you have really narrow feet. If you wear a size 11 shoe you'll probably need a neoprene sock.) I know this isn't really a big negative, but I felt like the fit for me was like Cinderella's shoe. I happen to be a perfect fit but this could be a tricky fit for most people. My toes got kind of chewed up after about twenty minutes of finning. (That would be taken care of by a simple pair of nylon dive socks.) All in all...these are amazing. On my next trip I'm taking my Mares Avanti Super Channel and Volo Race fins (because they're both really light it won't be a hassle), the Mares i3 liquid skin mask (in their Sunrise style as I have a really wide face),a Promate snorkel and a black inflatable snorkel vest (as the excursion operations seem to require us wearing one). I went snorkeling for first time down in Turks and Caicos. I have never used a snorkeling mask but wanted to get something that was quality. this one had great reviews. This masked worked amazing. Absolutely no water leaked in. it was easy to breathe. I got the hang of it in about 30 minutes. Applying a little bit of dish washing liquid solution to the lenses prevented fog up. I had ZERO issues with this mask. I would definitely recommend it. I would buy again. I think I will have this mask for a long time. I can't imagine what a mask would do to be any better ... show more

I got this by mistake and was just trying to give it a try … but i dont like it at all the snorkel kinda getting in my nerve the fins hurt my feet and the mask its ok … i thought this one was cressi … thats my brand all day long im sorry you guys but im not happy with the product at all
