I have been getting my nails done with acrylic since 1995. I’ve only done my own nails with dip powder a handful of times. This is the 1st time I’ve done my own dip with a tip. I agree with everyone else, these nails are TINY. I’ll only ever use 4 of the 12 sizes. FYI: these have no well, so careful with glue drips. Also gluing was annoying too much glue they slid, too little glue they still slid & had air pockets. B/c they are so tiny it’s hard to hold firmly while glue adheres, which seemed to take awhile. Make sure u scuff up the underside with a file for little better glue adhesion. $7 is not a bad price for 600pcs. Although I’ll only be using 200pcs. I’ll probably keep these & shop around for an almond shape to switch up. Years ago I found a nail supply that replaced nail tips by number. I liked a particular shaped tip that is not popular, so I always purchased my own supply. Wish I could find them again since 8 of the 12 sizes are wasted on me. My thumb is a zero, index (aka pointer) & ring are 3’s, middle is a 4, pinky is either a 9 or a 6, if I remember correctly. ... show more

This nail’s reminds me of the nails at the nail salon. They are very strong and easy to put on. They have numbers on the box so you can find your exact size in front of each nail section. So it saves so much time by having the numbers. They also last a long time I was able to get 2 weeks off of them. This is definitely a product to add to your nail collection. I love how these are super thin. I like the shape and curvature of the tips. Con- they do not have a well for glue to sit so when you put them on the glue goes onto skin past tip of nail. I only used a little line of mail glue.

These French white half-tips by Ranrose work really well. They just cover the tips of the nails and feature a subtly angled, beveled edge that blends smoothly with your natural nail for a seamless, natural look. This design helps soften the transition between the nail tip and your natural nail, but it doesn’t completely eliminate it. After gluing on the tip, I find that I need to apply a base coat and buff it down a bit to create a flush surface before painting on the clear topcoat. I use mini "single-use" (0.5-gram) Superglue to attach the tips—it’s easy to use and holds securely. After gluing and buffing, I finish with a clear topcoat. (In the photo shown, I’m using a matte finish topcoat.) For prep, I use 80/100 grit nail buffers. These tips don’t look plastic or overly thick, and they are surprisingly durable, holding up through everyday tasks like washing dishes and gym workouts. They’re much better than my last brand, which kept breaking or splitting. Highly recommend! ... show more
