    • What you would expect from a designer cologne
Polo colognes have been known to be just okay, this one is was no different. It doesn’t smell bad neither would I say it blows you out of the park. What makes this different from the regular designer though is this one is definitely not mass pleasing. Its a bit spicy and while the oud is not harsh, its a bit peppery and would take some getting used to. I find it difficult to recommend an occasion for this, but I would probably say a business casual evening event. As it leans more formal’ish to me. It doesnt last very long, which is surprising for an oud scent, probably lasts around 6hrs, could be a bit longer of you go heavy on the sprays. All in all, I probably wouldn’t recommend this as I feel there are better options in its price range, but its not a bad option to have in your rotation ... show more

I am not a huge face of Ralph Lauren's fragrance line, but being an Oud fan I had to give it a shot. This beauty has literally nothing to do with the classic Polo Green or any of its flankers. The opening notes are hardly there, but they're there. Maybe because I'm a huge fan of the traditional Oud & Rose combo, but I was immediately hit with the perfect balance of both. Just a bit smokie and powdery but in a good way. If this was a second chance for me to like Ralph Lauren's fragrance I have to say I'm in. It's delicate and smooth in a way that it can easily pass as a unisex fragrance, but it's still manly and elegant. It is a beautiful blend and I can't wait to wear it a few times. If you like Oud you'll enjoy this one. Even if you don't like oud due to some scents being too bold, this one is now and you won't regret giving it a chance. ... show more
