This light fixture is a beautiful upgrade from the previous builder grade fixtures. The shades are heavy leaded crystal prisms. I am using 40 Watt Reveal Light Bulbs for a very pleasing ambiance, not blindingly bright. Installation is fairly easy, 2 electricians installed them in less an hour. Nice light fixture for the price. You will need to buy shorter light bulbs for it though. We bought Medium E26 - A15 bulbs, 60W LED dimmable bulbs for ours.
