These would be five stars but the pair I got the strap was sewn the same way on both sleeves - I am not sure if that is intentional or if I got two left sleeves. It makes it so you can't wrap both of your elbows the same way. Luckily, my DD needs this brace for her left elbow and she was able to wrap it in such a way to get even more support from the brace - kind of wrapping it up and around her elbow and attaching it back to the strap. It is not possible to replicate this on the right side. For the right side, the way she can wrap it, it offers slightly less support. First, I'm getting my disclosure out of the way. Compression won't help everyone with elbow problems including tennis elbow or tendonitis. You should be working with your doctor and deciding together what will help you. I can't really review this item as a treatment for any specific problem; I am instead reviewing for construction, comfort, and overall compression. Construction - I am impressed with the construction of these sleeves. The sewing is good. The Velcro tab is large enough so that it will hold well and should not unexpectedly come open. There are two rows of rubbery paint at the top of each sleeve to help it stay in place. The fabric is woven specifically for this sleeve and is contoured to the shape of an arm without having any seams in it. Comfort - These sleeves feel comfortable to me while still providing compression. If any part of the sleeve is going to feel too tight it would probably be the top band which does not stretch as much as the rest of the sleeve above the elbow. The tighter fit at the top helps hold the sleeve in place. If my experience is any indication, the top band should not be too tight as long as your arm falls within the recommended measurements for the size you purchase. The size of the sleeves seems to run true to their sizing guide. The only awkward part of these sleeves is that I cannot bend my elbow as much when the sleeve is in place and as I bend my elbow to an angle less than 90°, I can feel the fabric bunching up next to my elbow. My rough guess is that I can bend my elbow 10° more without the sleeve which is barely anything at all. Compression - For me, the sleeves provide gentle compression for their entire length. The compression seems to be at an appropriate level for me because I can feel the compression but it's not at the level where it would cause problems with blood flow. Overall, these sleeves seem to do a good job offering compression as advertised. Whether compression is what your elbow needs may be another matter. If you and your healthcare provider want to go with compression, I think these would be a good set of sleeves to try it with. ... show more

Brace yourself.... for excellence! I have lived in pain for many, many years due to unmanageable RA. It's terrible, keeping it kid friendly, but I'm more or less used to it, that is until my elbow starting hurting. I knew it wasn't from the RA because RA doesn't attack larger joints so it was most likely bursitis just like in my knees and shoulders. Now, because of my "partnership" with pain, definitely on the losing end of that arrangement, I pretty much have every brace, machine, cream, gel, etc. out there but nothing of any substance or quality for the elbow. Once I realized that, to Amazon I went. After doing my due diligence, I settled on this and I must admit, I am quite happy I did. I am not going to exaggerate or blow smoke up anywhere, continuing to keep it kid friendly, and sing its praises for it is not the end all be all. What I will do is tell you it is one of the best braces, if not the best elbow one, I have ever used. It's not a miracle worker, I didn't put it on and 5 seconds later, the pain was gone. No, it did take its time but nothing extreme or extensive and ultimately, in the end, it did it's job. I would not be sitting here typing away as I am had it not worked, let's be real. And, I definitely wouldn't stand behind this product had it not, especially as someone always in search of pain relief. To be fair and just, not everything works for everybody but if you keep that in mind, and if you do give it a fair amount of time to do whatever these braces do to help alleviate the pain, and have a realistic expectation of what it can and will do, I think you will be just as, if not more, pleased with your choice of this product.     • A little too long if you don't have long arms, but doesn't slide or roll!

This compression sleeve is one of the better ones I have tried. It's a thick fabric that stretches somewhat but not so much it becomes useless. The anti-slip part on the top is awesome. It does not move. No sliding or rolling like almost every other sleeve I've tried. I'm not quite sure of the point of the strap on the bottom because I didn't feel like it added more support and just made it bulkier. My only issue, and it's not the fault of the product, is that if you have somewhat short arms, but need a larger size, it's really long. Like comes up almost to my armpit, which isn't comfortable. That's a body shape issue and no product is going to fit everyone. ... show more
