At the sixth month point there were some streaking areas in the arc but when the rain arrived in ernest, and before I could get them replaced, those streaking spots disappeared and the entire windshield was wiped clean and dry with each swipe. Good wipers. Does what it is supposed to do. During initial use, they left a vertical line across the front of driver's side windshield (from the passenger side wiper). It kept occurring after each use after I cleaned it off so I cleaned both blades and the windshield with diluted vinegar then alcohol. I got a lot of black dirt off the wipers and the problem hasn't come back. ... show more

So, I bought a newer car. But guess what? I’ve been putting my own wiper blades on prior to this but stopped when I was like why not let the dealership do it. It’s not rocket science, right? But here’s the thing, I usually take my car to the dealership to get them done. It usually costs around $50. But the last time I went, it was a whopping $75! Can you believe that? I mean, come on, that’s a huge price tag for wipers. So, I decided to leave the wipers they put on last time and just deal with it. And guess what? During this crazy cold spell, the ice broke off a piece of plastic from the wiper they installed. Talk about a bummer! I really needed a wiper during this bad weather, and I didn’t want to spend a fortune to replace the wipers. So, I had to remove the plastic piece that broke off from the wiper they installed. It took me a few tries, but once I got the hang of it, it was a breeze. I just snapped the new Rain-X wipers on, and they fit perfectly. They even work great for the price. I’m impressed! Easy installation as per usual with Rain-X wipers, but even following the directions didn't help avoid streaks in my windhsield. The driver side wiper works as expected, the passenger side leaves many streaks and makes the windshield visibility worse.
