  • Great product
So far so good... no leaks and it's been 3 months... it fixes devious sellers cover ups... my crack was hairline almost non existence down low and wider up near window... seller cover it up with thick paint which I ground off and drilled small pilot holes on the crack to let the ejection enter more easily. Spent 3 weeks doing the prep, casually after work. ... show more

  • So far, so good!
My husband purchased this to repair a large crack in our foundation that was not covered under the builder's warranty. How a large crack, allowing water to flood a basement is not "structural", I'll never know! The crack was fairly extensive -- from the ceiling to the floor of our poured concrete foundation. After research, my husband purchased this kit, carefully read the instructions (which he said could have been better) and went to work. He did mention the tools provided in the kit could be better but he made it work. It has been several weeks now, with additional heavy rain and no leaks. Otherwise, The only downside to this process for me was the strong smell for the first few days. I literally could not go down the basement until it dissipated! My husband has shared this project with several of his friends and they have all called to ask about it because they also have foundation cracks. The note is just his note of when he did the repair! ... show more

  • It might not do 10ft
It didn’t fix my crack that was about 5ft long and vertical at first. They sent me additional material to fix the crack and have individual cartridges for sale on their website. I also followed the tip below that did seem to help. “TIP: If you find that you’ve injected more than about a quarter of a cartridge of epoxy into a port, stop injecting, cap off that port, and wait for about 30 minutes. This should give the epoxy you’ve injected enough time to get more “gel-like” rather than “watery” – where it could simply saturate into the soil. In giving the injected epoxy time to harden a bit, we are creating a “bottom” of sorts that newly injected epoxy will sit on – which is our next step – and will then move up the wall, more along the lines of what is expected. Of course, voids can happen anywhere, but hopefully, that tip will help the injected epoxy to be more likely to stay in the wall. “A single 10-ft kit fills a volume of 60 cu. In. – a crack 8′ long and on average 1/16″ wide in a wall 10″ thick (8’x12 x 1/16″ x 10″ = 60 cu. in.). Epoxy does not expand. It is suitable for hairline cracks, but if the crack is wider, it requires proportionally more epoxy. Or, you may be experiencing a run out from the backside, or the epoxy is flowing downward towards the footer, thus consuming more epoxy. “ They seem to recommend the expanding polyurethane more than the epoxy. I recommend calling them before you purchase and describe what you are working on. ... show more

  • Buy the 20 ft kit
Worked as intended. It was easy to follow instructions and apply. I recommend getting more than you think you will need because I ran out and had to get some store bought epoxy to keep going.

  • Difficult product to use
This product is quite difficult to use. The 2 part epoxy putty is very thick, and cures very very quickly (within 10 mins of mixing), making the rest of the batch goes to waste. Also it smells horrible and would stink up the entire basement. The epoxy is also hard to apply evenly, this can result in leaky spots. If you buy this kit, make sure you get a bag of small plastic putty knife. The injection epoxy itself seems ok, you need to inject quickly otherwise it would cure in mixing nozzle or the flex tube. Yet some of the epoxy that got on the floor takes hours to cure which is strange. My biggest complaint is the putty, it’s really not usable with the cure time it has. ... show more
