We ordered two of these to stop the sun and heat beating through two windows. One was a replacement, one for a new area. Leave the shade wrapped BEFORE installing!! It would have made the installation seamless. The hooks were easy to install ( I'm 61 YO woman!). Drilled a pilot hole and screwed them right in. The sliding brackets give you lots of grace when installing. Had to wrangle the shades a bit since I unwrapped them first!! Once up, the plastic hooks slipped right through the slats to adjust the length. They look great, seem sturdy and the wind or breeze haven't blown them off the hooks or flipped up in the roof. Very happy with this purchase! And they have kept the rooms cooler but still let plenty of I direct light in!! ... show more

These were purchased to replace some white blinds that used a wand to roll them up and down. I like that this set of blinds rolls up from the bottom, they are light weight and easy to install. Got one of these, then bought two more - all the lengths are slightly different (about 5 or 6 inches), the wind can move them around quite a bit, and the plastic strips and the top and bottom will warp in sunlight and the colors don't quite match. These definitely aren't for long term use, at least outdoors, the plastic is very malleable and the "reeds" are very thin plastic that bends or gets damaged very easily. ... show more

Good product. Ive bought like 5-6 of these in last 7 yrs but from another company. For 1/2 the price but there always out of stock of course. So I tried this one from Amazon seemed to be the same product and it is I paid more but I’m glad I ordered it-it’s still a great price for a patio blind. It came tonight jan 27,2024 I just put it up in 2 minutes it’s so lightweight and quick to put up. But keep in mind I don’t attach it like you can I just hang mine on 3- long nails that are already on boarder of my wood patio one nail is in middle and 2 on each end and whallah’ you got privacy in 2 seconds lol and of course in day time it blocks about 90% of the uv rays and sunlight. It gives me just enough sunlight to enjoy my patio or garden without the sun beating down on my face. And my new neighbors that I don’t know very well at all put up security cameras that I know capture this side of my house & patio when I go out there and I’m not comfortable with that at all. I mean I’m a mom & grandma I’m old not doing anything wrong but I love my own space and privacy. Everyone deserves and has rights to privacy. So if your debating on this shade I gave you my honest option. They are made of vinyl not bamboo or wood but they still look nice and presentable for company comes and I’m very happy with it.I will order 3 more for the length to cover my whole area soon. ... show more
