I got my Bose TriPort OE (over ear) headphones many years ago (2007) and they still work great, but the ear cushions do need to be replaced eventually. This is my 2nd time replacing them. The last time was 7 years ago (2013). It took a little research to figure out that these, made for the QuietComfort 3 headphones, would work with my discontinued headphones. I consulted the Bose site, plugged in my serial number and found that yes, these were the right ones to get. I saw there were non-Bose replacement cushions available for lower prices, but they just don't look exactly like the genuine ones, so I couldn't be certain they would work as well or last as long and I didn't want to buy any from China. I'm happy to get the genuine Bose replacements. I simply prefer the real thing. ... show more

I could not believe how easy it was to install these new pads!! Job done in less than a minute and my wife's QC3 headphones look like brand new again. These are the ones from Bose and come with product certification. Sure they cost more than other replacements but, they are worth it--FIT IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! My wife does not like the new style over the ear headphones. She loved her QC3--I also ordered a new battery and once that comes, they will be exactly like they were new out of the box! My original pads finally saw better days and the foam was pretty much shot. I thought for sure I would have to throw out my Bose headset but I found out that you can easily replace them with new ones. These pads come 'very' close to the original. They are not quite as comfy as the originals but they do work, and I don't notice any dramatic change in fidelity . So the cost was well worth it and I can continue using my headsets for quite a few more years and hopefully the electronics don'f fail me. ... show more
