  • Stunning customer support. This Carport has provides greatest protection to the vehicle.
Well, the carport has been standing still and running for only 2 months with no major issues so far except for the following drawbacks: - Although I have reinforced the grommets with 2 1/2 in. Rhino tape, the polyethylene fiber has been torn in one corner. - The stakes provided are a joke, at the first moderate wind they came loose; so, I had to replace them with real stakes, I bought a Set of 4 heavy duty Silver corkscrew steel stakes. - The strings provided are, as well, a joke! They don't last long, they all "pulverize" (that's how it feels when you grab the broken rope) and snapped; so, I had to replace them with heavy duty ratchet tie down straps. - After only two months in Florida temperatures, the straps that hold the side release plastic buckles (used to hold the rolled-up front and rear carport panels) have “crystallized” (That's my best guess) and these are snapping right at the seam that fastens them to the polyethylene cloth. For this I have not found a valid solution, I have limited myself to sticking it with superglue and adhesive tape until I can contact customer service for a better solution, or perhaps, the replacement of those panels. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated. Despite all this, I have enjoyed the tent because it has provides greatest protection to the vehicle against inclement weather, ultraviolet rays, dust, pollen and other environmental debris.. Although it does not have any insulation against heat, it is possible to spend hours cleaning the vehicle comfortably. If you don't mind adding some extra expenses to your purchase, I dare to suggest to you this Quictent 13'X20' Carport Heavy Duty Car Shelter. Upgrade: This seller's customer support is great! Regarding the breaking of the straps that hold the plastic side release buckles (used to secure the front and rear garage roll-up panels), I contacted customer support and Jasmine gave me excellent attention and then, after providing required photos, they sent me the replacement right away. I greatly appreciate Jasmine's attention to this matter and her prompt resolution to my satisfaction. This has been excellent customer service ... I would absolutely tell my friends to buy this product from this vendor. UPDATE: Being today, July 20, 2021, I would like to add that this Quictent 13'X20’ Carport can easily be accessorized with a roll-up door kit as a better solution for the aforementioned drawback of those doors. Also, I have added a video of how my husband did it and photos if the materials he used. I should state as additional note that this Carport has weathered the recent Hurricane Elsa very well. ... show more

  • Great, Sturdy, Well-Made Carport
It only took my husband and me about three hours to put it up. The instructions were great and very clear. The poles and support pieces were straight, strong, and inserted easily into connecting pieces. The cover is well constructed and sturdy. The zippered end walls are strong as well. The carport is quite large...we will be putting a pickup truck and motorcycle inside. My husband and I are so impressed with this carport. I researched several, read numerous reviews, and decided to give this one a try and soooo very happy with this purchase. It is well worth the cost to be able to have a truly well made product like this carport! ... show more

  • Pretty much as advertised. Great value for the money!
Pretty much as advertised. Tent went up in less than half a day after sorting parts. Very minor issues, one of the elbows had a small bend in it and the tube would not go in. Straightened this on the vice in about 40 seconds with a ball peen hammer. Heat seaming on top canvas has some inconsistency in the middle section, looks like it was folded over when it went through the machinery at the factory. Not big enough of an issue for me to complain and ask for another one. I live on rocky, mountainous soil so the screw auger anchors provided seemed a little lightweight for the task. I fixed this with a few chunks of inexpensive rebar and some ratchet straps from tractor supply (roughly $35.) I don’t think this is a negative on the product; I just wanted to upgrade. Plan on having three people, makes getting it up so much easier. Instructions are basically pictograms but frankly there’s just not much to it! Easy to understand, easy to assemble, only tough part was stretching the canvas on the top which I’d expect. You want a new tent to be snug and taut. Honestly, I’m getting nothing but compliments from my neighbors (who no longer have to look at my junk outdoors!) I bought this tent over a much less expensive similar looking unit because of the reviews. So far, pretty pleased. We’ll see how it weathers over the winter ... show more

  • THIS IS NOT A HEAVY DUTY CARPORT !! ITS A DAY TENT ONLY - NOT MEANT FOR OVERNIGHT USE or WINDY...
The media could not be loaded. This Carport failed within the 1st 2 weeks of assembling it. We contacted the seller - they assured us the tent was a good product and they'd make it right. I said, Please just issue a refund and we'll return the tent. They said, we'll extend the warranty an additional 6 months - this is a good product with a good reputation. I agreed to try the tent with the new parts (roof and front and back panels) knowing it would likely fail again. The 2 windy days that caused the tent to fail were windy for sure- but not storms - by any means. After the 2nd failure last week - I contacted Quictent again w/ pics to show the tent failed this time COMPLETELY. Round 2 - they changed their story to - this tent is only a temporary structure and is not meant for windy locations. Their ad states - "More wind resistant" - "Heavy Duty Carport"- THIS IS Definitely NOT TRUE and They'll tell you this themselves when this Tent FAILS! Items that failed - Fabric (Roof/ Door Panels/ Side Panels Ripped) / many grommets pulled loose from Fabric / Metal frame components - Bent / Fittings - Bent / ground spikes Bent / Zippers on door panels - Ripped The only item that didn't fail was the small bungee cords!! This tent is LIGHT DUTY ONLY!! DONT BE MISLED!! IT WILL FAIL IF ITS OUTSIDE in WINDY WEATHER!! The wind here is in the 30 mph range - so - not excessive, but it'll blow trash cans over and small items like cardboard into the neighbors yard. AND it'll blow a tent like this - to shreds! PERFECT for a Wedding Event! NOT GOOD FOR A CARPORT!! ... show more
