I can't say that I've ever seen a product like this but it's really well conceived and versatile. Any place with a small gap can become an anchor point to tie stuff down. This might include dock equipment like a canoe or raft - maybe even a dog leash on a porch. Certainly great for trailers. You may not get it from first glance but the "stem" is really flexible and the head swivels to allow for precision tie-downs and securing a load or an item in place. Notice those two little teeth? Those grip the underside of a plank so the anchor doesn't slide. Cool gadget that's easy to toss in a tool bag. I'm going camping soon and I'm certain I'll come up with other uses. P.S. One of the coolest features is the fast installation and removal - about one second for each action. ... show more

Ok, I don't write a ton of reviews but wanted to leave this quick note: I was a little skeptical at first because they looked so small and simple but holy cow, they are strong! I do carpentry and construction and have used them every single trip to home depot and the lumber yard since I got them and tie downs are INFINITELY FASTER AND EASIER. I do recommend that you keep a little pry bar on hand to quickly shift planks on the trailer where needed and make setup a breeze. Absolutely a fan and I just bought a second set for more flexibility with complicated tie downs. ... show more

How did I live without this? I hated the hassle of engineering something and hoping for the best. These tie-downs are easy to use and didn’t let my load move an inch. I’m usually check the review constantly for shifting— especially on the highway or off-roading. No more of that! I’m so glad I found these! I’m a woodworker and transporting my custom projects is always the scariest part of the job. With the quick tie down anchors, I’m able to put the cabinets where I need to on the trailer and tie them down without putting unnecessary stress on them. I can position the anchors exactly where I need support and not risk damaging my work. They’re very easy to use and extremely strong as well. Perfect for anchoring a shade sail on our deck. We occasionally put up a shade sail and have 2 fixed points on the house but had to use an umbrella stand for the third. It’s heavy and awkward. These anchors are easy to use, easy to move and just what we needed.
