I'd been hesitatent to buy anything with memory foam as it makes me insanely hot when I sleep. But after "sleeping" on a mattress as hard as a board for a year I decided to take a serious look at hybrid mattresses. One of the things I saw mentioned by other reviewers quite often with both hybrid/memory foam mattresses was that after unwrapping many did not expand completely. This one expanded almost all together after just cutting the corner of the plastic. There was a slight odor, but it was gone in a couple of hours. It is super comfortable! Have been able to sleep through the night every night since I got it! And my back pain has decreased significantly! Extremely happy with this mattress and would recommend to anyone! Had to buy extra gel memory foam to make it good and useable. I weigh 200 lbs and sleep in the same spot of the bed and I don’t see any signs of dipping in the mattress. The side are firm enough that I don’t fill like I’m falling off when I get close to the edge. It’s supposed to be a 14” mattress but it’s closer to a real 13”. I ordered deep pocket sheets for this which do not fit this mattress. I’m actually using queen size sheets on this “double” and they fit perfect. Granted I did buy a foam topper, but those sheets I bought before I put it on wouldn’t fit :/ ... show more

I absolutely LOVE this mattress!!! As soon as I laid on it, I was depressed that my Lucid doesn’t feel as amazing as this!!! Don’t get me wrong, I like my Lucid. Heck, up until this one came, I even thought I loved it. But then we unboxed this little gem and suddenly I realized that I had been duped!! I paid far more for my 16” king mattress than I would’ve paid for a king size from this brand. I will say I don’t like a super firm mattress…I prefer a bed that has a little give in it. One that feels amazing when you first crawl into it. This mattress does just that! So occasionally, when my son decides to stay with a friend or goes out of town, I sleep in his room so I get to sleep on the mattress of my dreams!! So far, we’ve had it for about 18 months and it’s showing no signs of wear, which is far more than I can say for the 10” Zinus I purchased a few years back. Save your money & your time and get this one instead!! I 10/10 recommend this…I’d even give it more than 10 if the scale went higher, I love it that much!! ... show more

    • Mattress has a huge hump down the middle. Both sides slant.
I think the mattress is comfortable and wish it didn’t have a hump down the middle. I revived this on a Friday. Took it out and let it sit until Tuesday. It immediately developed a lump down the center and both sides slant. This is terrible to sleep on!

Folks, This is a great mattress! I have a bad back, neck, and hip. I was no longer able to sleep in my bed with its existing mattress and boxspring, and could only sleep in my recliner. Life was miserable. Then I purchased this hybrid mattress. I am now back to sleeping in my bed. This mattress provides amazing support without feeling like you’re sleeping on a board. I now get a full night’s sleep, and I am completely rested in the morning. Two minor cons: 1. This is a very heavy mattress. 2. It is a very thick mattress, and my bedspread is now a little too small. Overall I say that if you need a great mattress with great support you won’t find anything better. ... show more
