It's pretty crazy how they crammed this into a portable box (that weighs 50lbs lol). They included a VERY sharp letter/package opener; you just slice the plastic open and the mattress inflates itself VERY quickly. I gave it 48 hours but it didn't seem to do much beyond the first day. Anyway! It's comfortable. I'm coming from a pretty firm Tuft and Needle mattress; very different types of mattress, that one is all foam and about 5" thick. This is a hybrid. It's quiet, which is good. There's no creaking or groaning from its hybrid nature. It has just a bit of give to it, I wasn't sure how I'd like it, but after two nights on it, I'm won over. It's good. One time I went to get on it, put my knee down, and it was right on top of something; it caused some discomfort/pain, and I think it was part of the metal structure. It's only happened the one time. They claim some sort of strengthened edge but when I sit on the edge it crushes down anyway. I can push it down with my hand/arm. I don't suddenly fall off it, but yeah. It's a bit confusing as to what they are talking about. As a whole I think this is a good mattress, but only time will tell how long it actually lasts. ... show more

I always wondered how a mattress in a box worked and now I know, when you cut the vacuum pack it just puffs right up. After 24 hours I got it on the frame and it is super comfortable and the firmness on mine (medium) is just right. I ordered the 10" mattress but I already would like to upgrade to the 12" (the thickest I can get in full) but that will be down the road because I am more than happy with this mattress. ... show more

Ordered this to replace an old mattress of mine. This hybrid is great! Just the right amount of pillow top and cushion to give that cloud like effect. It conforms to the body and shape, comfortable enough for guests to feel relaxed.
