This mattress is not bad at all. I wanted a new one for my guest room and thought this would suffice - I was correct. It's maybe not ideal for a primary for me because of personal sleep preferences, but none of my visitors have complained, so I take that as a good sign. It inflated fairly quickly and is overall nice in appearance. It's a lot easier to move into the right location than a traditional mattress, at least until it's opened (it is really heavy though!). We have a third floor bedroom that, because of a bend in the staircase and another at the top of the stair landing, it is impossible to get a conventional queen size mattress in. Perfect place for the latest mattress in a roll or box options. We had a rolled up mattress from the European “I” store but it didn’t last and started to develop a permanent sag on the heavier sleepers side. It became such a divot that we decided to replace it with this mattress. So glad we did! When the mattress arrived I was astounded at how heavy it was compared to the foam “I” mattress it was replacing. It took two of us and a lot of grunting to get it up to the third floor. Definitely a two person task unless you are super fit. The pictures show the still rolled up mattress at the end of the foundation. We carefully peeled off the plastic allowing the mattress to unroll while still within the vacuum bag that kept it fully compressed. The bottom gray side is facing up in one of the pictures and you can clearly see the metal spring coils outline. We then flipped it over so the top white side was facing up -see picture. Then we used the included opener knife and slit open the plastic at the top and immediately the mattress began to inflate. We slipped off the plastic while it was inflating and took a picture. The side view and the brand name pictures were taken about 5 minutes after we started the “inflation” process. Within 10 minutes the mattress was by appearance at least 95% full. As requested in the instruction we waited a day (2 days in our case) for the mattress and the foam topper to fully inflate before we put on a set of fitted sheets. We have slept on it and it is very comfortable and no more divot! It’s more on the firm side then the fully foam Ik** brand mattress it replaced. It reminds me of mattress I have slept on in fancy hotels. Very comfortable and great back support. If a more cushion soft top is desired one of the foam toppers could be added but frankly, I’d test the mattress just as it is, that white top section seen in the pictures is plenty soft, but supportive. ... show more

Great simple mattress that is affordable yet comfortable. The pillow top is several inches thick and really makes this mattress great to sleep on. I like that it's not too high, makes it easy to fit sheets on it. This is on the firmer side if you like sleeping with that kind of mattress. You can expect this to be a phenomenal mattress, but for the price and considering its vacuum sealed its pretty decent. I'll definitely get a topper for it, it just needs something a bit more. But I think this would be best suited for college kids or someone who doesn't have the means to get/move a regular full size mattress. The fact it's vacuumed sealed is honestly the biggest selling point. But I also got my son a different one a while ago and it's like sleeping on squishy cardboard. Overall, this mattress is a high-quality option that balances quality and affordability. It arrived vacuum-packed and expanded right away once I cut open the sealed plastic. This is a really good quality mattress that is super comfortable. It does not get you overly warm and supports you in all of the right spots. Has definitely helped to relieve my back pain. Good mattress and an excellent value!
