We ordered this to replace our queen size mattress that we bought when we got married 23 year ago from a local reputable mattress store. We bought all our children's twin size mattresses at a mattress store and because they charge delivery fee, we actually bought and brought the mattress on our own in our SUV and it was big pain in the neck due to the twin size mattress that barely fit inside the SUV. There's no way a queen size mattress would fit in the SUV and we didn't want to pay delivery fee so we decided to order online since there's no delivery fee. I can't believe we can order 14 inch thick queen mattress from Amazon and it get delivered inside a box that we can be easily handled and managed without having to put a foot outside the house. The box was surprisingly small considering there a queen mattress inside rolled up but it was very heavy, I did have to get help from my son to lift the box together as weighting about 80lbs so I suggest 2 people to lift and handle the box. Once the box is opened, the rolled up mattress inside a compressed air bag can be taken out then unrolled on a bed then open the sides using the provided utility knife, which will immediately puff up the mattress to go back to the original shape. It's amazing how small things can be packed when air is removed from it and its surroundings. Once we opened the plastic bag, it took less than 30 minutes to become a mattress in an original form but they do recommend waiting for 72 hours for the mattress to return to its original shape. This 14 inch gel memory mattress has many layers including individually wrapped coils and multiple layers of foams, including memory foam underneath the skin-friendly breathable fabric on top. This was medium firmness rating, which is not too bouncy yet the memory foam makes it very plush and soft to lay on it. Highly recommend it! Well designed and packaged for convenience but without losing the practicality. It comes with 100-night trial and a 10-year warranty so you really can't go wrong with this purchase! ... show more

I found the procedure of unwrapping the mattress to be quite simple, and I was astonished by how fast it grew to its full size. A faint odor of off-gassing was there; however, it disappeared after a day or two after it was first noticed. This mattress strikes the ideal combination between comfort and support, which I believe is what sets it apart from others. Both the individually pocketed coils and the memory foam top layer conform to my body, offering alleviation to my pressure spots. Additionally, the memory foam top layer provides good support. Because I have always battled with back pain, I have found that since I switched to this mattress, I have seen a big decrease in the amount of discomfort I experience. With this mattress, I hardly feel any movement at all, even though my spouse has a habit of tossing and turning throughout the night. The media could not be loaded. Packaging: It's compact and well-protected, ensuring the mattress arrives in pristine condition. The instructions recommend waiting for 3 days for the mattress to expand and return to its original form, which it did perfectly. Odor: Many new mattresses come with a strong chemical smell that can take days, if not weeks, to dissipate. However, this mattress is completely odor-free right out of the packaging. Firmness: The mattress strikes a perfect balance in firmness. It's not too hard, not too soft, but just right. It's a medium-firm mattress that provides the right amount of resistance for a good night's sleep. Support/Comfortability: I bought this mattress for my girlfriend who has back pain. As someone who suffers from back pain, she found that this mattress alleviates discomfort, providing a restful sleep. The only minor drawback is the softness of the edges. If you step on them, they might feel a bit too soft. However, who sleeps on the edge anyway!? In conclusion, this mattress is worth every penny. I ordered King. Picture shown that this is NOT a King. Leaves about 1.5 inches on the sides and .5 inch at the bottom. Very soft. Not too bad when sleeping but it's obvious it won't hold up to people sitting on the side. I think it's a better fit for a petite person. It was pretty low price, so comfy enough to keep until I save up for a higher end model. ... show more
