It was neatly rolled in a heavy duty protective plastic and a vacuum sealed bag. It immediately started to rise once I removed all the plastic/bags. there was no smell at all. Great size ,shape, and price. most comfortable hybrid i have ever had. The medium firmness is perfect for me, offering the right amount of support while still being incredibly comfortable. When you first sleep on it, the mattress is extra firm and then it start to become comfortable. I wish it had a little more padding on top, i am well rested after sleeping on it. You get what you pay for. I can’t complain. The fit on the bed is true to size and easy to open and prepare for your bed.

The memory foam pillow top really contour your body and gives the right amount of support. the material seems of high quality and well made. looks elegant. easy to set up this mattress. comes nicely packaged and rolled up in box. remove the plastic then unroll it.let mattress stay out for at least 48-72 hours to get full thickness and before sleeping on it. once you set it up unroll it and let it expand out. you might be like me and have a complete night of sleep without tossing and turning. ... show more

After 3 days the bed did rise to about 12in, I finally slept on it the 5th day and it’s not comfortable at all.. feels very stiff and springy and cheap.. :/ the last bed I had was some inexpensive ikea hybrid mattress and it was comfier than this. I think it’s worth it to invest in a more expensive bed. I’ll be getting a foam topper to make this better.
