Nice cork tiles but the adhesive is not great- use 3M strips instead for more reliability and protection of your walls. Some fall off the wall within a few days while others will tear the paint off if they are overburdened or if you attempt to relocate them.

My plan was to attach several of them to a sheet of 1/8" plywood creating a custom large surface for a fraction of the price (not to mention, NOT custom size). I planned on using spray adhesive. Spray all over surface 1 (plywood). Then spray all over surface 2 (cork). Let it begin to tack up a bit and then apply the cork, and BAM, cheat code! Maybe I should have tried the adhesives that they supplied! They seemed insufficient to me. It didn't work that way. It may have been that the spray adhesive I was using was a little on the aged side. It may have also been that cork just isn't great with spray adhesive. I ended up using staples to secure the cork. It's not a problem for my application at all. I still got what I wanted for far less $$$ and I have something that is the perfect size. I'd do it again in a second... but I'd give their adhesives a try. ... show more

I like the cork squares. Some years ago I brought some cork plate mats at idea and I liked them. So after using them for a while, I decided to reuse them. I needed something to protect my counter top for the heat from my toaster oven and coffee maker. I had the round cork pads, but it would not cover the whole surface. So I used the plate mats and it worked fine. Now I live in a apartment complex and I still have my mats. I needed more for the counter top here at my apartment. I looked for them at ikea, but they no longer have them. I searched all around for cork and none of the stores had plain sheets of cork. Not until I checked Amazon and they have packaged squares. I bought one package and used it on my shelf for my coffee maker and air fryer. When you live in a apartment, there's not much counter space, so you have to go up. I bought a shelf unit that elevate and I can put things under it. So I need more cork for the rest of my counters. So when I decide to move forward into a new house again. I want to be able to get my security deposit back. I have 3 more packages of cork in my cart, to finish up my kitchen and to have extra in case I need to change them. I like cork. ... show more

I got these to put behind a map that I stuck a bunch of location pins into. I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for a big enough rectangle of cardboard. I did NOT use the adhesive squares that came with them because I honestly didn't think they would work. And I didn't want to rip holes in my wall if I wanted to take it down. I just used pushpins on each square piece to hold it up. It was difficult to hang and I have extra push pins in my map, but I'm confident it won't fall that way.
