I have the Quadlock case and ball mount, of course. I bought this because I thought I could use it on the rough roads that always seem to be under construction, or just need reconstruction. It seems to vibrate more on the vibration damper than without. At least the screen bounces around a good deal with the vibration damper installed. It's just an observation. I don't have any proof through accelerometer or g-force data, but it just seems to bounce around more than without, to the point I can't read the screen very well when the roads are rough. ... show more

I have quite a few Quad Lock products and love this company. A buddy of mine mounts his radar detector and iPhone on the shock absorber, and he tells me that his accessories stay put in 6th gear at 15,000 RPMs on an RSV4 (at the track).
