I have seen a few negative reviews on here that have me completely dumbfounded. The quad lock is a very well designed Phone case and holder, with superior hold and security. Can be used in vertical or landscape mode. I personally cannot understand how it is possible for others to have lost their phone, or even chewed up the back of the phone case without it, having to do with their impatience, or lack of understanding of how the lock engages and disengages, it does not take a brain surgeon but I guess if you’re half drunk or not the sharpest pencil in the drawer, you might have trouble figuring this out. All things considered this is not going to be your cheapest case and you might even have to swap out from your normal case to this one for just one you’re riding, but it will definitely secure your phone and keep it from shaking and vibrating, and hold in windy conditions. I use this case only when I am riding my motorcycle so durability was a huge factor in my purchase. I read the other reviews and figured it would be worth a try. I have to admit I am pleasantly surprised by how durable and amazing this case is. It locks the phone down and has protected it from drops and knocks since install. The Quad Lock mechanism does not provide any movement and keeps the phone securely in place. I have mine mounted on the handlebars and ride without a windscreen, even at 80mph+ speeds, the phone does not move a bit. I love the Quad Lock system and highly recommend it to anyone needing a secure carry solution. The parts integrate and install without any issues and hold securely. The good - ~The case if well made and works with the quad lock system. Its a positive engagement and does not come off the mount. ~Very tight fit with the phone. It needs to be tight to prevent the phone from getting knocked loose from the case and proper protection The Bad - ~ I have a screen protector and with the case being so tight, it puts pressure on the screen protector and it starts lifting up. I had to carefully trim the case with an X-Acto knife where there were pressure points on the screen. Final note, (if you ride off road you will understand) I recently had a hard crash off road. Front wheel came up on a steep climb, landed on a rock which kicked me towards a step and launched me and the bike into a pinyon tree. Phone case in the quad lock system did not budge. Had a "yard sale" with all my other stuff on the trail and a sore left arm. Should of taken a picture of it. ... show more

I like to throw cases on and off for different events and this one is easy to put on but not very easy to take off. I guess its a good thing since it will definitely hold onto your phone while mounted (which is the whole point) but it just feels as if you're going to break your phone the first few times you take it off. MagSafe would have been a welcomed feature as well and I wish the back was flat but I understand why they couldn't make those changes.
