The only thing I would change is if the zipper closure also had velcro - to close jacket without zipping it. This thing is almost too warm. First, this a fine jacket. Light weight but very satisfactory for the climate I live in (Sacramento). My only complaint, if it can be considered, is the zipper. You cannot zip it up from the bottom. I bought this for my son and I bought it one size bigger than he normally wears. He normally wears a 3X and I bought a 4X because it's winter and I thought if he needs to wear a sweater underneath it's a little big. I never know if the sizing is going to be right. However the sizing is very good for this jacket I bought a 4X and it is nice and bigger for him so he has lots of room to add a thick sweater or long underwear underneath if you want to double up on clothing in the winter.
