He also has to learn how to control his breathing while wearing the mask. He is still in the practice face and doesn’t wear it for more than 5 minutes at a time. Now, I (mom) decided to give it a try and as a adult it fit me too. I actually enjoyed it so much I swam for 4 hours. The face shield is so clear I was amazed at how it never fogged and I could see under water with ease. Once you get the hang of breathing, it was a breeze to use. I also like the ball in the snorkel valve that controls the water flow. I will admit the first time it shut off my air supply I thought I was gonna suffocate. But I just had to get used to taking that good deep breath before submerging completely. This honestly made swimming very enjoyable. My child is able to slide this mask on by himself. The mouth part fogs up but it’s separate from the eyes so the eye part stays clear. Water doesn’t get in it. My child was able to use this for his first time learning to swim because before he would never put his face in the water.
